CAN- TAGO MAGO (2LP'S)-1971-FIRST UK PRESS-UNITED ARTISTS-UAD60009/10.Matrices A-1/B-1/C-1/D-1 is a very rare British original of the cult album.  Tago Mago is the second studio album by the German krautrock band Can, originally released as a double LP in August 1971 on the United Artists Records label. It was the band's first full-length studio album featuring vocalist Damo Suzuki after Malcolm Mooney's departure a year earlier, although Suzuki participated in recording most of the tracks on the 1970 compilation album Soundtracks. It was recorded at Can Studio [de] in Schloss Nörvenich, a medieval castle near Cologne. Tago Mago includes long experimental tracks that combine rock and jazz improvisation, funk rhythms and specific music using editing techniques.  The album was named Kahn's best and most extreme album in terms of sound and structure.  The album received widespread critical acclaim and influenced many artists. The album was remastered and re-released in 2006 with the addition of six bonus tracks. A New World Record was the band's first album to reach the top ten in the UK (the previous three albums were very successful in the US, but not in the musicians ' home country). The album was certified platinum in both the United Kingdom and the United States, selling five million copies in its first year of release. A very rare British original of a cult album. Billion Dollar Babies is the sixth studio album by Alice Cooper and his band, released by Warner Bros. February 25, 1973, and topped the American and English album charts simultaneously. The singles released from it were: "Elected" (1972, No. 4 UK), "Hello, Hooray" (1973, No. 6 UK, No. 35 USA), "No More Mr. Nice Guy" (1973, No. 10 UK, No. 35 USA), "Billion Dollar Babies" (1973, No. 57 USA). The album received multi-platinum status, and the AllMusic Internet resource not only called it one of the best in Cooper's work, but also ranked it among the outstanding examples of classic rock of all time.  ...more

At the 1967 Grammy Awards, Sinatra won two Grammy Awards for his efforts on this album, including Record of the Year for the title track, as well as Best Male Vocal Performance for the same song. (In the same year, he received another Grammy Award - "Album of the Year for a Man and his Music"). Ernie Freeman's arrangement of the title track earned him the Grammy Award for Best Arrangement Accompanied by a Vocalist or Instrumentalist. This is the last album Sinatra performed with longtime arranger/conductor Nelson Riddle and his orchestra. A rare British original by a famous blues band. Burnin' Sky is the fourth studio album by English rock band Bad Company. It was released on March 3, 1977. Burnin' Sky was recorded in France at the Château d'Hérouville in July and August 1976 with future Rolling Stones sound engineer Chris Kimsey. Its release was delayed until March 1977 in order not to compete with the band's current album Run with the Pack. The album reached number 15 on the Billboard 200 chart and number 17 on the UK Albums Chart. ...more
