EXTREME-III SIDES TO EVERY STORY (2LP)-1992-FIRST PRESS HOLLAND-A?M - 540006-1. A very rare original of hard rock monsters mixed with glam and funk. III Sides to Every Story is the third studio album by American rock band Extreme, released in 1992. This is a concept album with a conditional division into three sections or "sides", called "Yours", "Mine" and "The Truth", each of which has its own sound and lyrical images. Despite the fact that fans and music critics consider the album Extreme one of the best, III Sides to Every Story suffered a commercial failure (it sold only about 700,000 copies compared to the double platinum Pornograffitti), because it did not have a hit single such as "More Than Words" (which took first place in the Billboard Hot 100 charts in 1991), from its predecessor Pornograffitti (although the single "Rest in Peace" reached number one on the mainstream rock chart).

Lot 56.DEEP PURPLE-SLAVES AND MASTERS-1990-FIRST PRESS UK/EU GERMANY-RCA-NMINT/NMINT

DEEP PURPLE-SLAVES AND MASTERS-1990-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-RCA- PL90535. A rare original of the cult album.  Slaves and Masters is the thirteenth studio album by Deep Purple, released on October 5, 1990. The CD was recorded with the participation of vocalist Joe Lynn Turner, who came to replace Ian Gillan at the suggestion of Richie Blackmore. The album went on sale on November 5, 1990 and caused contradictory responses. Blackmore was very pleased with the record, but music critics felt that it was more like a Rainbow album. Ian Gillan, who was dismissed from the group, had a similar opinion. "I feel proud of what Deep Purple did, and I think it would be fair if they called themselves by some other name - "Rainbow" or something. I think that would be fair enough. I think everyone would be relieved. They could very well continue their career as "Rainbow" and at a much higher level than if they continued as "Deep Purple". Upon its release, the album Slaves and Masters reached number 87 on the US Billboard 200 chart. Despite low album sales, Deep Purple conducted a relatively successful tour in support of Slaves and Masters in 1991, especially for the band's European leg. Turner was still a member of the band when they began writing and recording their next album in 1992, but under pressure from managers who were planning a tour in honor of Deep Purple's 25th anniversary, they eventually decided to bring Gillan back into the lineup for their 1993 studio album The Battle Rages On... ...more
