A rare British original .  Walls and Bridges is the fifth solo studio album by Beatles band member John Lennon, released in 1974. "Walls And Bridges" was recorded during Lennon and Yoko Ono's long separation. Elton John took part in the recording of the song "Whatever Gets You thru the Night". He bet Lennon that this song could take the first place in the American charts (which had not previously been possible for any of Lennon's solo singles). In case that happened, Lennon was obliged to take part in an Elton John concert. He had to fulfill his promise because "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" really managed to climb to the top of the chart. The composition "Beef Jerky" is the only instrumental on Lennon's solo albums. In the song "Ya Ya", Lennon's eleven-year-old son Julian plays drums. ...more

The band's first album, Downtown Flyers (1975) was released both in the US and in Europe, and interest in Europe was encouraging. .Their second studio album, the heavy groove album Red Card (1976) reached number 16 in the UK album charts and remains a highly respected album. By 1977, by the time of the release of their third and final studio album, Vicious But Fair (1977), their potential could have been more significant in the history of British rock, but was reduced due to changes in VERTIGO due to the growing influence of punk rock and new wave music on European culture. At Home is the second album by the rock band Shocking Blue. It was released in 1969 on the Pink Elephant label. This album was the debut for Mariska Veres. This is the first recording of the band with singer Mariska Veres. Robbie van Leeuwen acquired Veres in an attempt to emulate the shape of Jefferson's female airplane. Thanks to Veres' remarkable vocal performance and stunning appearance, the band finally had an adequate frontwoman. The band's second album was a mix of influences from pop rock to psychedelic rock. There is also early evidence of their interest in Americana, with tracks such as "California Here I Come" and "Harley Davidson".
