Mega rare original of the cult album. Artwoods is a British rock band formed in 1963 and worked between 1964 and 1967.Singer Arthur Wood, from whom the band took its name, was the older brother of Ronnie Wood (who later became famous thanks to Faces and Rolling Stones). Art Wood was the lead singer of Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated for a short period in 1962, while also leading his own band ART WOOD COMBO. When keyboardist Jon Lord (later founded DEEP PURPLE)   and guitarist Derek Griffiths of Red Bludd's Bluesicians joined the ART WOOD COMBO, ARTWOODS was formed.  They were very popular competing with the ANIMALS group, but sales did not reflect this popularity.   ...more

MStreetwalkers is an English rock band formed in late 1973 by two former FAMILY members, vocalist Roger Chapman and guitarist John "Charlie" Whitney. The band's first album, Downtown Flyers (1975) was released both in the US and in Europe, and interest in Europe was encouraging. .Their second studio album, the heavy groove album Red Card (1976) reached number 16 in the UK album charts and remains a highly respected album. By 1977, by the time of the release of their third and final studio album, Vicious But Fair (1977), their potential could have been more significant in the history of British rock, but was reduced due to changes in VERTIGO due to the growing influence of punk rock and new wave music on European culture. LOVE SCULPTURE-BLUES HELPING-1968-FIRST PRESS UK-PARLOPHONE-PCS7059. A very rare British original of the cult band. Their debut album Blues Helping included the songs "Summertime" and "Wang Dang Doodle". They are best known for their new 1968 hit on the UK singles chart, a high-speed cover version of Aram Khachaturian's classic piece "Dance with a Saber", released on the Parlophone label (R 5744), which reached number 5 on the UK Singles chart in December 1968. The recording was inspired by Keith Emerson's classic permutations. "Sabre Dance" became a hit after the broadcast of British DJ John Peel, who was so impressed that he played it twice in the same program.. In December 1968, the British music magazine NME reported that Love Sculpture had signed a recording contract in the US with London Records guaranteeing 250,000 pounds. The band also received an invitation to perform "Sabre Dance" live on the German television program Beat-Club on Radio Bremen, which was broadcast in Germany at the time.  ...more
