The Frank Sinatra Album is a 1962 studio album released upon Sinatra's arrival in Britain.  On May 30, 1962, Frank Sinatra's private plane, the Christina, landed at London Heathrow Airport. It was the first time that the singer appeared in the capital of Great Britain since 1953. On June 1, Sinatra was scheduled to perform a charity concert at midnight at the Royal Festival Hall in London in front of an audience that included many British celebrities and dignitaries, including Queen Elizabeth II's younger sister, Princess Margaret. The Best of Uriah Heep (also known as The Best of...) is the title of the most successful compilation album by the British rock band Uriah Heep. It was released by Bronze Records and Mercury Records in three different editions with approximately the same set of songs, but with different covers and track listings. The first edition was released in 1974 in Canada, the second in 1975 in Europe, and the third the following year in the United States. The rare Japanese edition of the cult album The Book of Taliesyn is the second studio album by the British band Deep Purple. It was released in the USA in October 1968 on the Tetragrammaton Records label, and in the UK in June 1969 on the EMI label. The musical style of The Book of Taliesyn is a mix of progressive rock, psychedelic rock and hard rock.[1][16][17][18][19]. Many reviewers believe that on this album the band demonstrated greater maturity and complexity of musical compositions than on the previous one. The album received a good rating in the USA, but like the previous one, it went completely unnoticed in the musicians' homeland, in the UK. It was recorded in 1987. The recording took place in the mobile studio "Tonwagen" (Melodiya company) for three days in May 1987 in the village of Shushary near Leningrad. Two sides of the album were named "Red" and "Black". "Block of Hell" was released as a magnetoalbum in 1987, and two years later it was released on vinyl simultaneously with the album "The Sixth Forester". According to official data, the circulation of the records exceeded 1,000,000 copies, which corresponds to platinum status in the USA. According to Konstantin Kinchev, the album's name has a double meaning and can be written in one or two words, since there is no established version. ...more
