The album consists mainly of re-recorded songs from Ri's previous albums, as well as the new track "Working on It", which reached number 73 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, and became Ri's only hit to reach number one on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The song "On the Beach" reached number 9 on the US Adult Contemporary Singles Chart and number 12 on the UK Singles Chart. The album reached number five on the UK Albums Chart, staying there for over a year, and was triple platinum by the BPI until 1992. It was released in February 1979 and sold a total of 30 million copies. A rare Scandinavian original of the second album of the famous disco band. Bamalama is the second album by the French disco project Belle Epoque, released in 1978 by the French company Carrere. The album Bamalama was recorded in October-November 1977 at New York's Sonyland Studios, and mixed in London. Bamalama appeared on sale in akurat for Christmas, a favorite marketing technique, because during this period people are overwhelmed by the irresistible itch of shopping. The Bamalama album contains almost all the material of their own composition - Evelyn Lenton and her brother Albert Weyman, with the exception of short quotes from rock and roll classics in a Bamalama medley. The album and the single Bamalama were a great success in Europe and Asia. In the States, the band was still not promoted at the record level. Belle Epoque was popular in the disco clubs there thanks to the trendy DJs, who sometimes even signed up the band to perform live in the most famous clubs and discos in the USA. ...more

LIVIN' BLUES-BAMBOOZLE-1972-THE FIRST PRESS OF HOLLAND-PHILIPS-6413 024, A very rare original of the iconic blues album by the Dutch band. Livin' Blues — Bamboozle (1972) The third studio album by the Dutch band Livin’ Blues, released in 1972 on the Philips label. Almost all the songs were written by Oberg and Christiansen, with the exception of the beautifully played ”Overture" Andrew Lloyd Webber and a cover of the song “Black Night” by American musician J.M. Robinson. The musicians relied on the next hit “L.B. Boogie", which set the mood for the whole album. But it turned out to be lively and bright – eight compositions from boogie rock to rhythm and blues. There was also a place for light sadness in it – Ted Oberg's instrumental composition “Sunrise”. In 1971, Dick Beckman was forced to leave the band, he was replaced by Johnny Le Jeune (ex-Island), a man who had been playing drums since the age of 5, a member of several Dutch bands. With him, the band recorded their third album with the strange name Bamboozle. The new drummer didn't last long for this album, then he joined the Schick Band. Tours began in Europe, where the arranged track "Overture" by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice (from Jesus Christ Superstar) was a great success.   ...more
