Very rare Japanese original in full package (very rare OBI) Led Zeppelin III is the third studio album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin, released on October 5, 1970. Led Zeppelin III was one of the most anticipated albums of 1970, with pre-orders approaching one million in the United States alone. The cover with the wavy edge delayed production for two months. Ahead of the release, the band posted a full-page advertisement in Melody Maker magazine at the end of September saying, "Thank you for making us the number one band in the world."  The album was released in the US on October 5, and in the UK on October 23. He immediately topped the UK charts. Led Zeppelin III became the number one transatlantic hit. In the UK, it reached number one on November 7, 1970 and remained on the charts for 40 weeks. In the United States, it entered the charts at number three on October 24 and reached number one the following week. ROLLING STONES-VOODOO LOUNGE-1994-FIRST PRESS UK-VIRGIN- V2750 Voodoo Lounge is the twentieth studio album by the English rock band The Rolling Stones, released on July 11, 1994. This album was the band's first release as part of their new collaboration with Virgin Records and their first studio album in five years, since the release of Steel Wheels in 1989. Voodoo Lounge is also the band's first album without original bassist Bill Wyman, who left the band in early 1991, although The Rolling Stones announced his departure only two years later, in 1993.  Voodoo Lounge sold well, reaching gold or platinum status in several countries, but failed to chart in the US top 40. The songs "Love Is Strong" and "You Got Me Rocking" reached #14 and #23 in the UK, respectively, and "You Got Me Rocking" became a major hit on most of the Stones' subsequent tours. The album was produced by Jimmy Page, who had already directed in this role on the band's debut CD. The musicians collaborated with sound engineer Eddie Kramer, who made a great contribution to the unique sound of the longplay. Led Zeppelin II demonstrates the evolution of the band's musical style — the guitar sound based on riffs takes center stage. Many critics consider this album to be the most "heavy" in Led Zeppelin's discography. Led Zeppelin II had good sales and became the band's first album to reach the top of the UK and US charts. PAUL KOSSOFF WITH BLACK CAT BONES- PAUL'S BLUES (3LP'S) -1968-FIRST PRESS 2008 UK-SUNBEAM-SBR3LP5058. Kossoff's first real band was The Black Cat Bones.  She was a blues-rock band from the late 60s, which alsofuture Freelance drummer Simon Kirk participated (while this album also includes the likes of Derek and Stuart Brooks from Leaf Hound, along with Paul Rogers). The Bones were well known at concert venuesand they performed as a house band for many bands coming to the USA, and also supported Fleetwood Mac and Peter Green. This 3-disc set features Kossoff's earliest known works, including rehearsals with The Bones in London in 1967. Both the content and the sound quality are such that only fans can be interested, but those same fans will enjoy listening to Kossoff's fiery jams when he was at the peak of his career. ...more
