A mega rare original of a cult album .The Captain and the Kid is the twenty—eighth studio album by English musician Elton John, released in 2006. This is his second autobiographical album with songwriter Bernie Taupin, continuing the theme of Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy (1975). The Captain and the Kid tells about the events in their lives over the past three decades. The Captain and the Kid reached number 6 on the UK Albums Chart, which was a significant improvement over John's previous album Peachtree Road in 2004, which reached number 21. Captain reached number 18 on the US Billboard 200, but quickly dropped off the charts. At concerts in early 2007, John made it clear that he was unhappy with the promotion of the album by Interscope Records, and threatened to terminate the contract with the label. A rare British original of the cult band.  Wind and Wuthering is the eighth studio album by the English progressive rock band Genesis. It was released on December 17, 1976 on Charisma Records and is their last studio album featuring guitarist Steve Hackett. After the success of their 1976 tour in support of their previous album, A Trick of the Tail, the band moved to Hilvarenbeek in the Netherlands to record their next album, their first recorded outside the UK. Writing and recording caused internal friction, as Hackett felt that some of his contributions had been rejected in favor of material by keyboardist Tony Banks. The album received a positive response from critics and boosted the band's popularity in the United States. It reached No. 7 in the UK and No. 26 in the US and sold steadily, eventually receiving Gold Certification from the British Phonographic Institute and the Recording Industry Association of America. The album contained two successful singles: "Knock on Wood" (#1 in the US in the pop genre, #6 in the US in the RB genre, #5 in the US in the club music genre, #6 in the UK, #13 in Germany) and "Light My Fire / 137 Disco Heaven" (#69 in the US in the pop genre, #36 in the US in the RB genre, #5 in the UK, #26 in Germany). A rare Japanese original of a cult album.The Blue Ridge Rangers is the first solo studio album by John Fogerty, former vocalist and guitarist of Creedence Clearwater Revival. When originally released on Fantasy Records in 1973, the album was credited to The Blue Ridge Rangers without mentioning Fogerty on the cover. Fogerty decided to do so in order to distance himself from his Creedence legacy. The album consists entirely of traditional and country covers, and Fogerty plays all the instruments. The album reached 47th place in the charts. Two singles from the album became hits: "Jambalaya", which reached number 16 in the United States and 15 in Canada, and "Hearts of Stone", which reached number 37 in the United States and 35 in Canada. The third single not included in the album, "You Don't Owe Me" reached 79th place in Canada. ...more
