DEEP PURPLE-THE HOUSE OF BLUE LIGHT-1987-FIRST GERMANY PRESS-POLYDOR-831318-1. Rare europe original iconic group. The House of Blue Light is the twelfth Studio album by British rock band Deep Purple and the second, recorded by the reunited "classic lineup" of the group, published in January 1987. In the Soviet Union was released by the record label "Melody" in 1988. The group gathered to record 12 APR 1986 in Massachusetts, USA, but has already finished recording in Vermont. According to Ritchie Blackmore, recording this album was a long and painful process, many tracks had to be rewritten. September 26, 1986 Roger Glover started mixing the album at Union Studios in Munich. It was assumed that all group members will be present at the same time, in order to make the last adjustments, however, the musicians appeared in the Studio, and left with it when they please: the contradiction between group members increased again, especially intense was the old conflict between Ritchie Blackmore and Ian Gillan. So out of all the members of the group only Gillan recorded several smaller parties. Had various disputes over the album, such as title (pace offered to call the album the title of one song — Black and White; also considered options such as The Acid Test, and It's Not That Bad!), songs (challenge the inclusion in the album of the song "Mitzi Dupree"). In connection with the complexities of entry and disputes a test version of the master disk appeared only on 18 December 1986, and, for example in the US, the album was planned (and announced) at the end of October of the same year. A very rare European original of the iconic album by the famous vocalist Ronnie James Dio. Holy Diver is the debut studio album by Dio, released in 1983. After leaving Black Sabbath, Ronnie James Dio put together a new band, which included drummer Vinnie Appisi, bassist Jimmy Bain and guitarist Vivian Campbell. Holy Diver's debut album was recorded in the style of Black Sabbath's latest works, which attracted many fans of this band to Ronnie's new band. Holy Diver reached number 13 in the UK charts and number 56 in the US (but here it went gold and subsequently platinum). IAN CARR WITH NUCLEUS-SOLAR PLEXUS-1971-THE FIRST UK PRESS-VERTIGO SWIRL-6360039. A mega rare original of the iconic jazz-rock progressive British band. Solar plexus is the third album by legendary musicians. On the previous two Nucleus albums, Carl Jenkins was the main songwriter. Now bandleader Ian Carr, who single-handedly wrote all the material for this album, has finally decided to take the reins. As a result of his conceptual approach, more spontaneous, groove compositions (reminiscent of the band's second album) alternate with more static and "compositional" ones (in the spirit of the first disc). Thus, the material here turned out to be, although without bright themes (Jenkins could not be surpassed), but more balanced and high-quality than on the previous disc. Yes, it is quite possible to blame Carr that his playing is devoid of Miles's emotional depths, but both he and the rest of the uncles from Nucleus have both individuality and a serious level of skill, which does not kill the music. Despite the seriousness of the ambitions, this is a very lively, diverse and mobile jazz-rock with a good game. In terms of mobility, a separate respect should be expressed to drummer John Marshall - it is always interesting to listen to him. Guitarist Chris Spedding doesn't do much solo, but he expertly maintains rocking rhythms. The final 15-minute Snakehips Dream is especially good: a cool groove and a real expanse for all musicians and listeners. ...more

A rare Japanese original of a cult album. Who Do We Think We Are is the seventh studio album by the British band Deep Purple, released in 1973. Deep Purple's last album with vocalist Ian Gillan and bassist Roger Glover before the release of Perfect Strangers in 1984. The CD was recorded in July 1972 in Rome[4] and in October of the same year in Frankfurt using the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio.At that time, the band was torn apart by internal conflicts and the recording of the album turned into a nightmare[4]. Ian Gillan later compared this album to The House of Blue Light in 1987: "It's the same: great songs, but a complete lack of mutual understanding among the musicians and ... weak morale."Who Do We Think We Are did not rise above the 4th position in the UK and 15th in the US charts.
