A rare British original of the iconic album.Bridge over Troubled Water is the fifth and final studio album by folk-rock duo Simon and Garfunkel, released in January 1970 on Columbia Records. Bridge consists of two of the duo's most critically and commercially successful songs, "Bridge over Troubled Water" and "The Boxer", which was included in Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Critically and commercially successful, the album topped the charts in more than ten countries and won two Grammy Awards, plus four more for the title song. High Time is the second studio album by American rock band MC5, released in 1971 by Atlantic Records. Unfortunately, the 1971 album High Time was the last for MC5. Heavy drugs entered the lives of the band members, and within a year they broke up, moving to other groups. At least two of the participants ended up in federal prison on drug trafficking charges, and they were never reunited until Rob Tyner's untimely death in mid-summer 1992.Although the band's debut album Kick Out the Jams peaked at number 30 on the Billboard 200 chart, their second album stalled at number 137, and High Time proved to be even less commercially successful.  ...more

Stamper 1G./1G (A Dream!)  A rare British original. Silverhead is a British glam rock band founded in early 1972, led by singer and actor Michael Des Barres. The other band members were: Robbie Blunt (guitar), Rod Rook Davis (guitar, percussion, vocals), Nigel Harrison (bass guitar) and Pete Thompson (drums, percussion, keyboards, vocals). They signed with Deep Purple's Purple Records label and recorded two studio albums, Silverhead (1972) and 16 and Savaged (1973), and were part of the 1970s glam rock music scene. In the UK, they have opened for bands such as Nazareth at Finsbury Park and Osibisa at Brixton Sandown, and have also headlined at Dagenham Roundhouse. Work on the third studio album (working title "Brutiful") began in 1974, but the band broke up in July 1974 before it was finished. ...more

A very rare European original of the iconic album by the famous vocalist Ronnie James Dio. Holy Diver is the debut studio album by Dio, released in 1983. After leaving Black Sabbath, Ronnie James Dio put together a new band, which included drummer Vinnie Appisi, bassist Jimmy Bain and guitarist Vivian Campbell. Holy Diver's debut album was recorded in the style of Black Sabbath's latest works, which attracted many fans of this band to Ronnie's new band. Holy Diver reached number 13 in the UK charts and number 56 in the US (but here it went gold and subsequently platinum). Critics rate the album highly, and many of the songs from it are considered anthems and classics of heavy rock. Ronnie James Dio himself was recognized by the readers of Kerrang! magazine as the best vocalist, and his band was recognized as the best new band of 1983. In a 2005 interview, the band leader said that there are three flawless albums for him: Rainbow Rising, Heaven and Hell and Holy Diver. ...more
