PINK FLOYD-A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS-1968-FIRST PRESS(STEREO) UK-COLUMBIA- number SCX6258 of the XAX matrix-3633-1/ XAX-3634-1, 1R/1A stamper (very early!)  A mega rare British original of the iconic album. A Saucerful of Secrets is the second studio album by the British rock band Pink Floyd, released on June 29, 1968 by Columbia, owned by EMI, in the United Kingdom and on July 27 of the same year by Capitol Records in the United States. The album was recorded on August 7-8, 1967 and January 18 — May 3, 1968 at Abbey Road Studios in London and on October 9-11 and October 19, 1967 at De Lane Lee. A Saucerful of Secrets reached number nine in the UK charts.  A Saucerful of Secrets was the last album to be recorded by Syd Barrett. Starting with this album, David Gilmour became a permanent member of the Pink Floyd collective. In January 1968, he officially took Barrett's place in the band. ...more

It was originally released in Scandinavia on November 17, 1975 and in other parts of the world in 1976, notably in the UK on April 10 and September 18 in the USA and Canada. The release of Greatest Hits coincided with the beginning of ABBA's huge popularity in the UK in the second half of the 1970s, becoming the first of eight consecutive number one albums for the band. It spent eleven consecutive weeks at the top of the UK Albums Chart and became the best-selling album of 1976 and the second best-selling album of the 1970s. As of July 2016, it is the 46th best-selling album of all time in the UK, with sales of over 2.6 million Greatest Hits was released in the USA and Canada in September 1976, but record sales peaked only in April 1977, when the song "Dancing Queen" took first place in both countries. "Dancing Queen" was not included in the Greatest Hits, but it was the lead single from the new studio album Arrival, and it aroused interest in the ABBA back catalog. ROXY MUSIC-HEART STILL BEATING-1990-FIRST PRESS EU (GERMANY)-VIRGIN- 304069.  A rare European original.  Heart Still Beating is the third live album by Roxy Music, released on October 22, 1990. It was recorded during a concert in Frejus, France, on August 27, 1982 as part of a tour in support of Avalon's latest studio album. The album cover features model Amanda Cazalet. The Frejus concert was filmed by Robin Nash for the BBC and released on home video in 1983 under the title The High Road with songs in a different sequence. However, the album The High Road, also released in 1983, consists of audio recordings of another concert of the tour, which took place in Glasgow, Scotland, on October 30, 1982. The High Road was discontinued by 1990 and replaced by the album Heart Still Beating, which included both concerts. ...more

A very rare British original of the cult ROLLING STONES album. Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass)is the first compilation album by The Rolling Stones. With various covers and track listings, it was released on March 28, 1966 on London Records in the United States and on November 4, 1966 on Decca Records in the United Kingdom. The American edition focused on the songs of 1964 and 1965 with two new melodies: the recent "19th Nervous Breakdown" and the re-recorded "Time Is on My Side" with a guitar intro. The British version covered a longer period, starting with the band's first A-side single in 1963, "Come On", and ending with several songs from 1966, including the recent hit "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing in the Shadow?" The album reached number three on the US Billboard 200 chart[1] and number four on the UK albums chart.
