A very rare original of a cult blues album. Indianola Mississippi Seeds is the eighteenth studio album by B. B. King. It was released in October 1970 on ABC Records. On this album, B. B. King mixed elements of blues and rock music. The result was one of King's most critically acclaimed albums and one of the most highly acclaimed blues crossover albums of all time. The album appeared on several Billboard album charts in 1970, peaking at number 26 on the Pop Albums chart, number seven on the Jazz Albums chart, and number eight on Billboard's "Black Albums" list. The album also spawned several hit singles "Chains and Things", King's own song "Don't Ask Me Questions" and Leon Russell's song "Hummingbird". King himself also considers the album one of his greatest achievements. The second album of the hard prog British band consisting of great musicians JOHN CANN, JOHN GUSTAFSON, PAUL HAMMOND.  It is the second and final album by the 1970s British rock band HARD STUFF. During the recording of the album, two band members (John Cann and Paul Hammond) were injured in a serious car accident in Belgium. Cann was sitting in the front passenger seat of their car. Ford Zodiac and suffered a back injury and broken ribs, while Hammond, who was sleeping in the back seat, broke both legs. Kahn spent a week in the hospital in Ostend, and Hammond spent two months.[1] The band managed to finish recording the album, but Cann later stated: "When I listen to it, it sounds a little sketchy and not the way we intended, but still it has its good moments." Hard Stuff disbanded shortly after the release of the album, and the members went their separate ways. It was originally released by Mercury Records in the United States on November 4, 1970 and in the United Kingdom on April 10, 1971. The album was produced by Tony Visconti and recorded at Trident and Advision Studios in London in April and May 1970. The album was initially a commercial failure. Pegg writes that by the end of June 1971, only 1,395 copies had been sold in the United States.. That same year, Bowie stated, "[he] sold like hot cakes in Beckenham and nowhere else."However, after the 1972 RCA reissue following Ziggy Stardust's commercial breakthrough, the album peaked at No. 24 in the UK, where it remained for 30 weeks, and number 105 on the Best Records charts, for as long as 23 weeks, the 1990 reissue of the album re-entered the UK album charts, peaking at number 66. ...more

Recorded between September 1970 and June 1971, released in September 1971 on Harvest Records. The album was recorded at De Lane Lea Studios (like its predecessor). Compared to Deep Purple in Rock, this album was recorded in a more experimental style. Allmusic named it one of the band's four most important albums, along with Machine Head, In Rock and Burn. Ian Gillan, unlike the rest of the band, considers this album a classic of Deep Purple. Nevertheless, he noticed that the inclusion of "Anyone's Daughter" (in the country style and with humorous lyrics) on the album was fun, but a mistake ("A good bit of fun, but a mistake"). Jon Lord singled out several tracks of the album, such as "No No No" and "Fools", and especially noted Pace's playing in the title track. The track "Strange Kind of Woman", released as a single in February 1971 and rose to number eight in the UK charts. 20,000 copies were sold in the first week.
