A very rare original of a cult blues album. Indianola Mississippi Seeds is the eighteenth studio album by B. B. King. It was released in October 1970 on ABC Records. On this album, B. B. King mixed elements of blues and rock music. The result was one of King's most critically acclaimed albums and one of the most highly acclaimed blues crossover albums of all time. The album appeared on several Billboard album charts in 1970, peaking at number 26 on the Pop Albums chart, number seven on the Jazz Albums chart, and number eight on Billboard's "Black Albums" list. The album also spawned several hit singles "Chains and Things", King's own song "Don't Ask Me Questions" and Leon Russell's song "Hummingbird". King himself also considers the album one of his greatest achievements. When asked about his best work, King said: "I know critics always mention Live and Well or Live at the Regal, but I think Indianola Mississippi Seeds was the best album I made

Work on Abbey Road took place from February to August 1969 and became the last joint project of all four members of the ensemble (the last numbered album of the group Let It Be, released in 1970, was mostly recorded in January 1969). The record was produced by George Martin, who had worked with the band since 1962. Abbey Road sales totaled four million copies in the first two months. In the UK, the album debuted at the top of the national chart, where it remained for 11 weeks, after which it was supplanted by The Rolling Stones' Let It Bleed for one week. Then he returned to the 1st place again (in the Christmas week) and stayed there for another six weeks (17 weeks in total), until he was displaced by the second Led Zeppelin record - Led Zeppelin II. Abbey Road spent a total of 81 weeks on the UK Albums chart. There was a similar situation abroad. The record occupied the top spot of the Billboard Top LP chart for 11 weeks, becoming the best-selling album of 1969 according to the National Association of Recording Companies, as well as one of the record holders of the Japanese chart, appearing in its Top 100 for 298 weeks throughout the 1970s. ...more

A rare original in a very rare top condition. Stop is a hard rock/R and B album by the first incarnation of Eric Burdon's band, which included Burdon, John Sterling, Kim Kesterson and Terry Ryan. The band was formed in 1971, after Burdon left his previous band War to record an album with Jimmy Witherspoon. They recorded the 1971 album Guilty! and then, without Witherspoon, this album. Released only in July 1975, it did not have a single hit, but enjoyed some success on the American chart, reaching both American and Canadian albums. A bright red and white cover cut octagonally in the shape of a traffic stop sign. Inside the spread, a large black-and-white portrait of Burdon is depicted on one surface. The album received high marks and broke into the top 20 charts on both sides of the Atlantic. ...more
