He had an original timbre of voice and an expressive artistic presentation of the song. He could vividly beat a song in any style, from romantic to jazz.

The first compilation album by the American rock band the Eagles, released on February 17, 1976 by Asylum Records. The album contains a selection of songs from the first four Eagles albums released between the formation of the Eagles in 1971 and 1975. Their greatest hits (1971-1975) reached number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, where they remained for five weeks. "One of These Nights" and "The Best of My Love" topped the Billboard Hot 100. The album is notable for being the first album to receive platinum certification by the RIAA, which was introduced in 1976 to recognize albums sold a million copies in the United States. They were one of the bands that British Decca (USA, London/Parrot) had a relationship with during difficult times until they started selling records; it took four or five albums until they started selling in the USA. In the late 1960s and 1970s, the band managed to break into the Billboard Hot 100. The 1971 release of Street Corner Talking included the songs "Tell Mama" and "Conversation on the Street Corner". Nevertheless, superstability constantly eluded them, perhaps partly due to frequent changes in the composition. Despite this, their next album Hellbound Train (1972) entered the Top 40 album for them in the USA. In January 1974, the British music magazine NME reported that Stan Webb was joining Savoy Brown after the breakup of Chicken Shack.
