MAYALL, JOHN-CRUSADE-1967-FIRST PRESS (STEREO) UK-DECCA-SKL4890. Matrices A-1W/B-1W. A very rare original of the cult blues rocker. Since the release of the previous album A Hard Road, there have been noticeable changes in the composition of the Bluesbreakers: Peter Green left to form his own band (Fleetwood Mac), and Ainsley Dunbar moved to Jeff Beck. John took Keef Hartley to the vacant drummer's place, and it was more difficult to replace the lead guitarist - after all, the new musician would have to bear comparison with both Clapton and Green. John remembered that at one of the concerts, when Eric for some reason did not show up on time, a young boy came who claimed to know the entire repertoire of Bluesbreakers. Mayall didn't have much choice, and he invited the young guitarist to the stage. He demonstrated a good knowledge of the material and excellent technique, and John was impressed with his performance. But after the concert, the boy left without leaving his coordinates. Now Mayall wanted to find this musician, and in the end he was able to do it by placing an ad in Melody Maker. So Mick Taylor came to the band, who was more inclined to blues-rock, and not to pure blues. The band's line-up was expanded with the involvement of two saxophonists-Chris Mercer on tenor and Rip Kant on baritone. This sextet went to the studio on July 11 and 12 to record a new album, which was produced by Mike Vernon, and Gus Dudgeon was again noted as a sound engineer. ...more

U2-ZOOROPA-1993-FIRST PRESS UK/EU-HOLLAND-ISLAND-74321153711, A very rare European original of the cult album.Zooropa is the eighth studio album by the Irish rock band U2. Produced by Flood, Brian Inoi and The Edge, it was released on July 5, 1993 on Island Records. Zooropa received generally positive reviews from critics. Despite the fact that none of his three singles—"Numb", "Lemon" and "Stay (Far, so Close!)"—was a consistent hit in different regions, the record sold well after release, entering the top ten out of 26 countries. However, the duration of the album's recording and sales over the entire lifetime of 7 million copies were less than that of Achtung Baby. In 1994, Zooropa won the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album. Although the album was a success, and music journalists consider it as one of the most creative works of the band, the band treats it with mixed feelings. ...more
