WAITS, TOM-CLOSING TIME-1973-FIRST PRESS 1979 GERMANY-ASYLUM-ASK53030 A rare German original of the first album from the master of tavern blues. Closing Time is the debut album by American singer-songwriter Tom Waits, released on March 6, 1973 on the Asylum Records label. Produced and arranged by former Lovin 'Spoonful member Jerry Yester, Closing Time was the first of Waits' seven major releases from Asylum. The album was moderately successful in the United States, and although it did not chart and received little attention from the music press in the UK and other countries too. This explains that the album began to be re-released in Europe in the second half of the 70s when Tom became a super star. Scène de vie (English: Moments in Life) is a studio album by French artist Patricia Kaas. It was her second album, released in 1990. This confirmed the singer's potential, reaching the top of the album chart in France. In France, Scène de vie climbed to number 2 on May 10, 1990, and then reached the top of the album chart and stayed there for ten weeks. It spent 38 weeks in the top ten and 78 weeks in the top 50.[3] It became a diamond disc eight years after its release, just as Mademoiselle Chante did... before him. In Switzerland, the album entered the charts on May 6, 1990 at number 17 and reached a peak position of 15.
