"This is the first official Yankee album, Not Supposed to, recorded at Coffin Studios on January 9, 1988. Yana (Yanka) Stanislavovna Dyagileva (September 4, 1966, Novosibirsk-presumably May 9, 1991, Novosibirsk district, Novosibirsk region) was a Soviet rock singer, author, performer, member of the punk rock groups "Civil Defense", "Great October", etc. One of the brightest representatives of the Siberian underground of the late 1980s.She began to give concerts, mostly apartment concerts, where she performed her songs with a guitar. Diaghilev quickly gained fame and respect in the Soviet rock underground, and Yankee's unauthorized albums were released.During her lifetime, Yanka was not actually noticed by the official media. She really did not like to give interviews, rejected the offer of "Melody" to release a CD, the TV did not shoot video materials about Yanka. Diaghilev never sought popularity and did not contribute in any way to the "promotion" of her name. She died in May 1991. The circumstances of the death are not fully clarified. The official conclusion of the investigation is drowning as a result of an accident.
