DEEP PURPLE-FIREBALL-1971-SECOND PRESS 1972 JAPAN-WARNER-P-8092W Rare Japanese edition of the cult album. Fireball is the fifth studio album by the British rock band Deep Purple. Recorded between September 1970 and June 1971, it was released in September 1971 on the Harvest Records label. The album was recorded at De Lane Lea Studios (like its predecessor). Compared to Deep Purple in Rock, this album was recorded in a more experimental style. Allmusic named it one of the band's four most important albums, along with Machine Head, In Rock and Burn. Ian Gillan, unlike the rest of the band, considers this album a classic of Deep Purple. However, he noted that the inclusion of "Anyone's Daughter" on the album (in a country style and with humorous lyrics) was fun, but a mistake ("A good bit of fun, but a mistake"). Jon Lord highlighted several tracks on the album, such as "No No No" and "Fools", and especially noted Pace's performance on the title track. The track "Strange Kind of Woman", released as a single in February 1971 and rose to number eight in the UK charts. It sold 20,000 copies in the first week. The album was highly appreciated by the public and critics, becoming multi-gold on both sides of the Atlantic. ...more

Future Legends is the debut studio album by the Northern Irish progressive rock band Fruupp. Recorded in July 1973 and produced by Denis Taylor, it was released on October 5 in the UK on Dawn Records, a subsidiary of Pye Records for underground and progressive rock music. To promote the album, the band embarked on a two-month tour, which ended on November 29 with a concert at Whitla Hall in Belfast, where they played with the Ulster Youth Orchestra. ...more

CAN- TAGO MAGO (2LP'S)-1971-FIRST UK PRESS-UNITED ARTISTS-UAD60009/10.Matrices A-1/B-1/C-1/D-1 is a very rare British original of the cult album.  Tago Mago is the second studio album by the German krautrock band Can, originally released as a double LP in August 1971 on the United Artists Records label. It was the band's first full-length studio album featuring vocalist Damo Suzuki after Malcolm Mooney's departure a year earlier, although Suzuki participated in recording most of the tracks on the 1970 compilation album Soundtracks. It was recorded at Can Studio [de] in Schloss Nörvenich, a medieval castle near Cologne. Tago Mago includes long experimental tracks that combine rock and jazz improvisation, funk rhythms and specific music using editing techniques.  The album was named Kahn's best and most extreme album in terms of sound and structure.  The album received widespread critical acclaim and influenced many artists. Ned Raggett of AllMusic called it "not just one of the best krautrock albums of all time, but also one of the best albums of all time, without exception." ...more
