A rare Scandinavian original of the second album of the famous disco band. Bamalama is the second album by the French disco project Belle Epoque, released in 1978 by the French company Carrere. The album Bamalama was recorded in October-November 1977 at New York's Sonyland Studios, and mixed in London. Bamalama appeared on sale in akurat for Christmas, a favorite marketing technique, because during this period people are overwhelmed by the irresistible itch of shopping. The Bamalama album contains almost all the material of their own composition - Evelyn Lenton and her brother Albert Weyman, with the exception of short quotes from rock and roll classics in a Bamalama medley. The album and the single Bamalama were a great success in Europe and Asia. In the States, the band was still not promoted at the record level. Belle Epoque was popular in the disco clubs there thanks to the trendy DJs, who sometimes even signed up the band to perform live in the most famous clubs and discos in the USA. ...more

Silent circle) is a German pop band performing in the style of Euro-disco and sintipop. Was formed in the city of Dresden in 1985. In the current team consists of Martin Tychsen (vocals), Harald Schaefer (keyboards), and drummer jürgen Behrens (drums).The band founded the team and first performed in 1979, but after that their ways parted. And only in 1985 the band reunited to record their debut album. Their first album was the disc "No. 1", released in 1986. Following the debut single "Hide Away — Man Is Comin'!" — eight of the album's songs were released as singles. Among them the most popular was "Touch In The Night" and "Stop The Rain In The Night". A rare original of the iconic jazzman. Solo is a solo album by Brazilian composer, guitarist and pianist Egberto Gismonti, recorded in November 1978 and released on ECM in January of the following year. In the AllMusic review, Stephen Cook gave the album 4 stars, noting that "here Gismonti is in perfect order, he takes off without any companions, offering listeners a provocative and often meditative solo program." ...more

PAUL KOSSOFF WITH BLACK CAT BONES- PAUL'S BLUES (3LP'S) -1968-FIRST PRESS 2008 UK-SUNBEAM-SBR3LP5058. Kossoff's first real band was The Black Cat Bones.  She was a blues-rock band from the late 60s, which alsofuture Freelance drummer Simon Kirk participated (while this album also includes the likes of Derek and Stuart Brooks from Leaf Hound, along with Paul Rogers). The Bones were well known at concert venuesand they performed as a house band for many bands coming to the USA, and also supported Fleetwood Mac and Peter Green. This 3-disc set features Kossoff's earliest known works, including rehearsals with The Bones in London in 1967. Both the content and the sound quality are such that only fans can be interested, but those same fans will enjoy listening to Kossoff's fiery jams when he was at the peak of his career. ...more
