Originally released on January 30, 1984 in Europe by the Liberty/EMI label, it was redesigned for the American market and released on April 16, 1984 in North America by the Geffen label. A "European" mix was released in Japan on March 23, 1984, and an "American" remix from CBS/Sony was released on December 21, 1984. Although he was not a great success, he helped the group enter the American market and achieve a breakthrough in the late 1980s.
