BLIND FAITH-BLIND FAITH-1969-SECOND PRESS UK-POLYDOR-583059. Matrices A-1/B-1. A very rare second press of a cult album in top condition. Blind Faith is the only album by the British rock band of the same name, it was released in August 1969 and immediately topped the charts in the United States and Great Britain. The recording took place in London, first at Morgan Studios, and then at Olympic Studios, under the direction of producer Jimmy Miller. All tracks on this album belong to the band members, except for a cover version of "Well All Right" from Buddy Holly's repertoire. The album received positive reviews from critics, was a great commercial success and immediately topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. The cover of the album published in the UK shows a young topless girl (the younger sister of photographer Bob Seideman, the creator of the cover) holding a model airplane in her hands. In the USA, this picture was considered not quite decent, and the album was also released with an alternative cover, which featured a photo of the band members. Released on August 12, 1991 by Elektra Records, it is commonly referred to as the Black Album due to its packaging design. His recording took place in a one-on-one studio in Los Angeles for eight months, during which Metallica often clashed with its new producer Bob Rock. The album marked a change in the band's music from the thrash metal style of their previous four albums to a slower, heavier and more refined sound. Metallica performed Metallica in full during the 2012 Black Albums European Tour. In 2020, the album was ranked 235th in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest Albums of all time. In December 2019, Metallica became the fourth release in American history to reach the 550-week milestone on the Billboard 200 chart. E Pluribus Funk is the fifth studio album by American rock band Grand Funk Railroad. The album was released on November 15, 1971 by Capitol Records. Like the previous Grand Funk Railroad albums, it was recorded at the Cleveland Recording Company and is the last album produced by Terry Knight. The name is a play on the motto of the United States of America, E pluribus unum, and in Latin means "Of many, Funk". The original exhaust cover (designed by Ernie Cefalu) was completely round and covered with a silver film that resembled a large coin.
