Both Sides were created by Phil Collins on their own, without the involvement of its regular employees (such as producer Hugh Padgham (eng. Hugh Padgham), guitarist Daryl Stormie (eng. Daryl Stuermer), which always helped him to record his albums. A rare British original of the queen of soul disco. Bad Girls is the seventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Donna Summer, released on April 25, 1979 through Casablanca Records. Originally released as a double album, Bad Girls became the best-selling and most critically acclaimed album of Summer's career. It was also her last studio album on the Casablanca Records label. Bad Girls reached the top of the US Billboard 200 chart, where it lasted six weeks. Bad Girls received universal acclaim and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) just a week after its release. At the 1980 Grammy Awards, Bad Girls was nominated for Album of the Year and Hot Stuff was nominated for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. A rare early edition of the cult album. Alan Price said that Lindsay Anderson wanted to make a documentary about Price and his band touring England, but the cost of licensing the songs they performed was too high. While Sherwin and McDowell were developing the script, Anderson decided that Price should write the score, and sent him the script, indicating where he would like to see the songs. Price wrote almost all of the songs before filming began. The soundtrack was released as a vinyl album by Warner Bros. Records, in 1973. In the United States, it entered the top LPs and Tape Chart on August 11, 1973, and spent 14 weeks on the chart, peaking at # 117. The score won the 1974 BAFTA Award for Best Film Score.  ...more
