Mega rare British original in top condition. Acquiring the Taste is the second studio album by the British rock band Gentle Giant, released in 1971 by Vertigo Records. It was a departure from the blues and soul styles found on their self-titled debut. It was more experimental, more dissonant, and with more diverse instrumentation. In the sleeve text, the band made this famous statement:Our goal is to expand the boundaries of modern popular music, at the risk of being very unpopular. We wrote down each essay with one thought in mind-that it should be unique, adventurous and exciting. It took all of our combined musical and technical knowledge. From the outset we have abandoned all preconceived thoughts about the blatant commercialism. Instead, we hope to give you something much more substantial and fulfilling. All you have to do is sit back and get a taste. The album cover has some subtext in that it is made to look like a tongue licking the anus. OMEGA (RED STAR)- FROM HUNGARY-1968 UK FIRST PRESS-DECCA-SKL4974. Matrices A-1W/B-1W. Mega Rare is the first album recorded in English and released in England.  500 copies of stereo and mono were released. In 1968, the manager of the British band "Spencer Davis Group" invited me to visit the UK with several concerts.  The Omega was allowed to leave without question. At that time, the band already had quite a lot of song material, which they played in front of English listeners in London and elsewhere. One of the concerts was attended by two friends-guitarists – the legendary George Harrison and Eric Clapton. They suggested that Omega record at Abbey Road Studios, which they did. The recording lasted for three days. The album was released in the same year on the label "Decca", and was so successful that the group was offered to record another album without leaving the box office. But the authorities in Budapest got wind of this and ordered the second album to be released in Hungary, otherwise the band would never be released abroad again. I had to comply and record the album at home in Hungarian. It included less than half of the tracks from the English album, and even then heavily reworked, and the rest of the material was completely different. The CD turned out to be very successful and sold 100 thousand copies in Europe – at that time it was a record compared to even some famous Western bands! ...more

ABBA-GRACIAS POR LA MUSICA-1980 - FIRST PRESS SWEDEN-SEPTIMA-SRLM-1. Very rare Swedish original Spanish-language album. Gracias Por La Música is an album by the Swedish band ABBA, released in 1980. The release of Gracias Por La Música was prompted by the band's unexpected rise in popularity in Latin American countries such as Mexico and Argentina, following the release of Spanish-language versions of the songs " Chiquitita "and"I Have a Dream". The band members decided to record eight more songs in Spanish and release a full-length album specifically for this market. Buddy and Mary McCluskey, who worked at RCA Records in Argentina, were invited to translate the lyrics. The tracks were recorded in January 1980 at Polar Music Studios, with lead vocalists Agnete Faltskoog and Anni-Frid Lingstad assisted by Spanish-Swedish journalist Ana Martinez. The soundtracks of the songs, some of which date back to 1974-1975, have been modified to give them a more modern sound. An album released on ECM by jazz pianist Keith Jarrett performing solo improvisations recorded in Bremen (Germany, July) and Lausanne (Switzerland, March) in 1973; in between, Jarrett played in the US with his American Quartet.
