Fish Rising is the debut solo album by British progressive guitarist Steve Hillage, recorded and released in 1975. The album was recorded on the eve of hillage's departure from Gong, and many artists on this album represent The band, including bassist Mike Howlett, drummer Pierre Merlin, keyboardist Tim Blake, and saxophonist Didier Malherbe. Hilledge wrote some of the material for his former band Khan, and in the lyrics and sound, Hilledge also developed the ideas and mythology of Gong. The album's long compositions in the style of space and psychedelic rock were brilliantly arranged and performed, with Hillage's magnificent guitar solo playing particularly prominent in the sound. They were founded in 1970 by classical multi-instrumentalist Peter Solly and jazz drummer Keith Webb, two members of Terry reed's band that was part of the opening act for The Rolling Stones on their 1969 American tour . Other band members were Derek Foley (guitar and vocals), formerly of Grisby Dyke; Lou Stonebridge (keyboards and vocals) of Glass Menagerie, who released five progressive rock and psychedelic rock singles, as well as lead singer Grisby Dyke; and Peter Beckett (bass guitar, vocals), who came from Liverpool-based Winston G and the Wicked, and later in the final incarnation of World of Oz .They played at venues across the UK, working to develop their sound by performing a mix of rock, Blues, soul, jazz and Latin music. The paladin's use of a double keyboard also created a unique sound. These performances were noticed by Bronze Records (who also recorded Uriah Heep and Manfred Mann). On January 8, 1971, paladin entered Olympic Studios in London to record his debut self-titled first album, produced by Filamore Lincoln. Reviews were good, but sales were disappointing. ...more

Made in England is the twenty-fifth Studio album by British singer-songwriter Elton John, released on 20 March 1995. The CD is dedicated to John's future husband David Furnish, as well as such famous personalities as Peter William and Denis Gowder. When Elton John finished his work on the Lion King soundtrack, and immediately started recording his new album, called it Made in England. Also by this time, his new single Believe was released. And as soon as it came out, it immediately gained huge popularity, taking also the 15th place in the UK and the 13th place in the US. In November 1994, the singer's Grand tour took place in the UK, France, Chile, USA, Argentina, Poland, Switzerland, Peru, Italy and Japan. And while it lasted, three more singles were released. This is Made in England, Blessed and Pain. When the tour ended and John returned home, by this time the album was slowly going on sale and the sales results exceeded all expectations.
