A very rare British original of one of the cult jazz albums.  This is an album by two American jazz saxophonists Gerry Mulligan and Johnny Hodges with performances recorded in 1959, released on the Verve label. The Allmusic website gave the album 4 stars, stating: "Gerry Mulligan's 1959 Studio date with Johnny Hodges is one of the most enjoyable sessions of his meetings with various saxophonists for Verve ... Throughout the performance, the two saxophonists are perfectly combined with each other and complement each other. effort, even though it was their only opportunity to record together in the Studio."

Co-produced by johnny Sandlin and the band, the album was released in August 1973 in the United States by Capricorn Records.  On the cover of the album depicts a photo of Valora Trucks, son of drummer Butch Trucks and his wife Linda. The back cover features a photo of Brittany Oakley, daughter of berry Oakley and his wife, Linda. The album represented The allmans ' commercial peak: it sold more than seven million copies worldwide, ranking at the time in the top 200 pop albums for five weeks. "Ramblin' Man " became the band's first and only hit, peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1973. Mega rare British original hard Blues progressive album. They were founded in 1970 by classical multi-instrumentalist Peter Solly and jazz drummer Keith Webb, two members of Terry reed's band that was part of the opening act for The Rolling Stones on their 1969 American tour . Other band members were Derek Foley (guitar and vocals), formerly of Grisby Dyke; Lou Stonebridge (keyboards and vocals) of Glass Menagerie, who released five progressive rock and psychedelic rock singles, as well as lead singer Grisby Dyke; and Peter Beckett (bass guitar, vocals), who came from Liverpool-based Winston G and the Wicked, and later in the final incarnation of World of Oz .They played at venues across the UK, working to develop their sound by performing a mix of rock, Blues, soul, jazz and Latin music. The paladin's use of a double keyboard also created a unique sound. These performances were noticed by Bronze Records (who also recorded Uriah Heep and Manfred Mann). On January 8, 1971, paladin entered Olympic Studios in London to record his debut self-titled first album, produced by Filamore Lincoln. Reviews were good, but sales were disappointing. ...more
