Following the release of Together Track Records and held several concerts in England in 1973, during which GE has tested my Quad, svyazistam. The band performed at London's Rainbow Theatre, and also appeared in the television program BBC OLd Grey Whistle Test.

After the major success of the album Smash, the band returned to the Studio in 1996 to record their next album, which was titled Ixnay on Hombre. The name combines pig Latin ("Ixnay" version of the word "nix") and the word "Hombre" (which translated from Spanish means people). Ixnay on the Hombre was released on February 4, 1997 and is the first album The Offspring distributed by Columbia Records. Their former label Epitaph Records released it in Europe due to disagreements between the band and label founder Brett Gurewitz. The group was able to release his album under the label of Columbia for the US and other international releases, but had to finish the album in Europe through Epitaph.
