A rare British original. A Night at the Opera is the fourth studio album by the rock band Queen, released on December 2, 1975. The record was a great success: its sales reached three million, and it held the top position in the UK charts for four inconsistent weeks. The title of the album — "Night at the Opera" — as well as the subsequent one, is taken from the repertoire of American comedians of the 1930s by the Marx brothers, namely from the film of the same name. At each Queen concert, several songs from A Night at the Opera were necessarily performed (while "Love of My Life" was never performed in the album version). It is generally believed that the song "Death on Two Legs" is dedicated to the former producer of the band. "Bohemian Rhapsody" brought the band a resounding success and in 2000 was recognized in Britain as the "song of the millennium". The final album, "God Save the Queen", is the British national anthem arranged by Brian May; it was this composition that invariably completed each concert of the band. A rare American original of the queen of soul disco. Bad Girls is the seventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Donna Summer, released on April 25, 1979 on the label Casablanca Records. Originally released as a double album, Bad Girls became the best-selling and most critically acclaimed album of Summer's career. In addition, it was her last studio album on the label Casablanca Records. Bad Girls reached the top of the US Billboard 200 chart, where it lasted six weeks. Bad Girls received universal acclaim and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) just a week after its release. At the 1980 Grammy Awards, Bad Girls was nominated for Album of the Year, and Hot Stuff was nominated for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance.
