A rare Japanese original of the cult album. A New World Record is the sixth studio album by the British band Electric Light Orchestra, released in September 1976. The album was remastered and re-released in 2006 with the addition of six bonus tracks. A New World Record became the band's first album to reach the top ten in the UK (the previous three albums had great success in the USA, but not in the homeland of the musicians). The album was certified platinum in both the UK and the USA, and sold five million copies in the first year after its release. Very rare Japanese original in full package (very rare OBI) Led Zeppelin III is the third studio album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin, released on October 5, 1970. Led Zeppelin III was one of the most anticipated albums of 1970, with pre-orders approaching one million in the United States alone. The cover with the wavy edge delayed production for two months. Ahead of the release, the band posted a full-page advertisement in Melody Maker magazine at the end of September saying, "Thank you for making us the number one band in the world."  The album was released in the US on October 5, and in the UK on October 23. He immediately topped the UK charts. Led Zeppelin III became the number one transatlantic hit. In the UK, it reached number one on November 7, 1970 and remained on the charts for 40 weeks. In the United States, it entered the charts at number three on October 24 and reached number one the following week. It reached 41st place in the UK Albums chart. The album contains five Chuck Berry covers, as well as Berry-related songs such as "Route 66" and "Down the Road Apiece". This album was the second "post-contract" album released by Decca after the termination of their relationship with the Stones in 1971. Due to the nature of the contract, the band lost all control over their recordings until 1971, which are jointly managed by Decca and ABKCO Records. ...more
