Desolation Boulevard is the third studio album by the British glam rock band Sweet, originally released in the United Kingdom in November 1974. Two markedly different versions of the album were released: one by RCA Records in Europe, and the other by Capitol Records in the United States, Canada, and Japan.The RCA version contains the single "Turn It Down" and the original recording of "Fox on the Run"." The Capitol version, released in the United States in July 1975, includes the 1973 hit single "The Ballroom Blitz "and the single version"Fox on the Run"." In the United States, the album peaked at number 25 on October 25, 1975.Desolation Boulevard is considered by many to be the band's best album. Stage is the second live album by English musician David Bowie, recorded during the Isolar II Tour and released on RCA Records in 1978. The recording was made at concerts in Philadelphia, Providence, and Boston, USA, in late April and early May 1978. It mainly included material from Bowie's last studio albums at that time, "Station to Station", "Low" and "Heroes" (both 1977), but also contained five songs from "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars" (1972). In addition to Bowie's main band, consisting of Carlos Alomar, Dennis Davis and George Murray, the band included former Frank Zappa member Adrian Belew on guitar, Simon House from Hawkwind on electric violin, Roger Powell, best known for working with Todd Rundgren in the band Utopia, on keyboards and Sean Mays on piano, string ensemble and backing vocals. They all reunited the following year on Bowie's next studio album Lodger (1979). Stage was a commercial success.
