FAT MATTRESS- FAT MATTRESS- 1969 -THE FIRST UK PRESS-POLYDOR-583056. A very rare British original of a cult album by a psycho folk-blues progressive British band. Fat Mattress is the self—titled debut studio album by the English rock band Fat Mattress, released on August 15, 1969. Fat Mattress was founded in late 1968 by vocalist Neil Landon and guitarist and vocalist Noel Redding, who at that time was playing bass guitar in the popular psychedelic rock band The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Landon and Redding had already written several songs for Landon's cancelled solo project and, having invited bassist Jim Leverton and drummer Eric Dillon, completed the writing and began recording their first material. The self-titled debut album was completed the following year and released in the UK by Polydor Records on August 15, and in the US by Atco Records in October. In support of the album, the band also released their debut single "Magic Forest", which reached number 11 in the Netherlands. Fat Mattress's debut album was a minor commercial success, peaking at number 134 on the US Billboard 200 chart. ...more

The Last Waltz was advertised as the band's "farewell concert",[2] and the band was joined at the concert by over a dozen special guests, including their previous employers Ronnie Hawkins and Bob Dylan, as well as Paul Butterfield, Bobby Charles, Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Emmylou Harris, Dr. John, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, The Staple Singers, Ringo Starr, Muddy Waters, Ronnie Wood and Neil Young. The musical director of the concert was the original producer of the band John Simon. The concert was produced and hosted by Bill Graham and directed by Martin Scorsese, who turned it into a documentary film of the same name, released in 1978. "The Last Waltz" is one of the best, if not the best, rock films ever made, which reveals and energizes a classical band at the peak of its popularity." A rare American original of a cult album. Cerrone IV - The Golden Touch is the fourth studio album by French disco musician and producer Jean-Marc Cerrone, released in 1978 on Malligator (773,807) in France, on Atlantic branch Cotillion (SD 5208) in the USA, on CBS - in European countries. Having gained the huge popularity of his previous album, Supernatural - Cerrone III (1977), Cerrone decided to consolidate his success by signing important contracts. First of all, he signed an agreement with the Machat brothers: producer Steven Machat and show business lawyer Martin Machat. They became Cerron's managers in order to promote it internationally. Steven Machat signed Cerron to Atlantic Records in the USA and Canada, and to CBS everywhere except the USA, Canada and France. In France, he was given the right to publish on his own Malligator label. While waiting for the fourth album, Cerrone's fans were wondering where it would turn. Will this project be as conceptual and ambitious as the previous Supernatural, or will Cerrone return to the lingering, pleasant to forget and party style of the first albums Love in C Minor (1976) and Cerrone's Paradise (1977)? Making something amazing again after Supernature was, of course, not an easy task. Cerrone didn't repeat himself, but he made the fourth album no worse than the third. Cerrone IV: The Golden Touch was met with rave reviews in the United States, and Atlantic threw a huge party in New York in October 1978, one of the largest parties ever held for artists at that time. A very rare British original of the second version of the iconic A-2/B-2 matrix album Led Zeppelin II is the second studio album by the British rock band Led Zeppelin, released on October 22, 1969 on Atlantic Records. The album was recorded in several studios located in the UK and North America from January to August 1969. The album was produced by Jimmy Page, who had already directed in this role on the band's debut CD. The musicians collaborated with sound engineer Eddie Kramer, who made a great contribution to the unique sound of the longplay. Led Zeppelin II demonstrates the evolution of the band's musical style — the guitar sound based on riffs takes center stage. Return to Fantasy is the eighth studio album by the British rock band Uriah Heep, released on May 13, 1975 by Bronze in the UK and Warner Bros. Records in the USA. The album is known for the title song "Return to Fantasy". On the eve of the recording, there was another change of composition. Bassist Gary Thane left by mutual consent, because due to drug addiction he was physically unable to cope with a tight schedule of touring and recording. Later, on December 8, 1975, Gary Thane died at the age of 27 from an overdose. He was replaced from Roxy Music by bass guitarist John Wetton, who had previously played in the bands Family and King Crimson.
