Bamalama appeared on sale in akurat for Christmas, a favorite marketing technique, because during this period people are overwhelmed by the irresistible itch of shopping. The Bamalama album contains almost all the material of their own composition - Evelyn Lenton and her brother Albert Weyman, with the exception of short quotes from rock and roll classics in a Bamalama medley. The album and the single Bamalama were a great success in Europe and Asia. In the States, the band was still not promoted at the record level.
