The seventh studio album by the British-American rock band Foreigner, released on June 14, 1991 on Atlantic Records. Unusual Heat suffered a commercial failure, reaching only number 117 on the Billboard chart due to a sharp drop in sales compared to all previous albums, each of which reached the Top 20 and became at least platinum. None of the two singles released from the album made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and "Lowdown and Dirty" only reached number 4 on the Mainstream Rock chart. ...more

A rare British original. A Night at the Opera is the fourth studio album by the rock band Queen, released on December 2, 1975. The record was a great success: its sales reached three million, and in the UK charts it held the first position for four inconsistent weeks. The title of the album — "A Night at the Opera" — as well as the subsequent one, is taken from the repertoire of American comedians of the 1930s by the Marx brothers, namely from the film of the same name. At each Queen concert, several songs from A Night at the Opera were necessarily performed (while "Love of My Life" was never performed in the album version). It is considered that the song "Death on Two Legs" is dedicated to the former producer of the band. "Bohemian Rhapsody" brought the band a resounding success and in 2000 was recognized in Britain as the "song of the millennium". The final album "God Save the Queen" is the anthem of Great Britain arranged by Brian May; it was this composition that invariably completed each concert of the band. The recording of the album began in March 1990 and lasted until September. The main producers of the album were Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Minogue has also collaborated with a number of American authors and producers, including Keith Cohen, Stephen Bray and Michael Jay. The singer began to take part in songwriting: Rhythm of Love includes four compositions, co-authored by Minogue. Rhythm of Love is an album in the style of dance pop music, different from the singer's early works in the style of bubblegum pop. The compositions of the record are characterized by a more danceable sound, with its release, Minogue's image has become more liberated and sexy. The CD received positive reviews from music critics, who called it the best work of the performer during her collaboration with Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Compared to Minogue's previous albums, Rhythm of Love turned out to be less successful in terms of sales: the record reached the ninth line of the British charts, thus becoming the singer's first studio release not to reach the first line.
