A very rare British original of the legendary band. On this day in 1975, the band Smokie releases their second album, called ‘Changing All The Time'. This album is a testament to the changes. After its release, the band had to slightly change the spelling of its name to avoid being nagged by lawyers for American soul singer Smokey Robinson. However, only the last two letters have changed. But the Smokie sound has undergone significant changes. The band's curators, hit makers, Chinn and Chapman tried to give it more softness with echoes of country rock, which was supposed to turn Smokie into the British answer to the Eagles. A total of 14 of the band's singles were in the top twenty of the UK Singles Chart; two of them — "Here Comes My Baby" and "Silence Is Golden" — were successful in the United States.The Tremeloes were (according to Allmusic) "one of the most talented in the British pop-rock scene of the 1960s, releasing expertly crafted, memorable hit singles", in 1966-1970 had great success on both sides of the Atlantic, but remained underestimated — largely due to the fact that they often sang and I borrowed song material, but most importantly, because I was "too late" for the start of the British invasion. SMOKIE-MIDNIGHT CAFE-1976-THE FIRST PRESS (PROMO) JAPAN-RAK-ERS-80494.  A very rare Japanese promo original of a cult album. After a good start in 1975, on a wave of growing popularity, the band went to California and began work on their 3rd album at Whitney Recording Studios. Where he actually records all the material for the album, only "What Can I Do" was recorded at London's Audio International Studios. Did you make a record, where would you think? On the iconic Abbey Road! The recording featured the classic "golden" Smokie line-up: Chris Norman guitar, piano vocals, Alan Silson guitar vocals, Terry Uttley bass guitar backing vocals, and Pete Spencer drums backing vocals.The length of the album is 43 minutes, 4 of the ten songs belong to the pen of "Double CHE", the rest are written by the members of the group."What Can I Do" was written by Alan Silson, and he also sang it. A very rare original in a complete set (poster 65 cm x 65 cm) of the iconic British rock and blues band. Watt's album sounded in many ways like a continuation of "Cricklewood Green": it is based on the same pointed riffs and "angry" vocals, except that the general mood here is a little lighter. Alvin Lee began experimenting with complicated song structures, but achieved the greatest effect in riff stuff ("I'm Coming On"), soul-country "My Baby Left Me" (unrelated to the Elvis Presley song), "I Say Yeah", where the synthesizer sounds quite in the spirit of Keith Emerson ("Aquatarkus") and the ballad "Think About The Times".. Originally released on January 30, 1984 in Europe by the Liberty/EMI label, it was redesigned for the American market and released on April 16, 1984 in North America by the Geffen label. A "European" mix was released in Japan on March 23, 1984, and an "American" remix from CBS/Sony was released on December 21, 1984. Although he was not a great success, he helped the group enter the American market and achieve a breakthrough in the late 1980s. Historically, this was the last Whitesnake recording to use the band's original "snake" logo. The album reached number 9 in the charts, becoming the fourth in the top 10 in the UK. In the United States, it reached number 40 on the Billboard 200 chart.
