SEAL-SEAL -1991-THE FIRST PRESS OF GERMANY-ZTT- 903174557-1.  Matrices A-4/B-3 (original standard mixes). A rare European original of the modern king of soul-funk. It is the eponymous title of Seal's debut studio album, released in 1991. It contains the singles "Crazy", "Future Love Paradise", "The Beginning", "Killer" and "Violet". The album debuted at number one in the UK and won Best British Album at the 1992 Brit Awards. There are two versions of the album, with minor and significant differences in the three songs. The shorter version of "Wild" is more rock-oriented and heavy than the original. The abridged version of "Violet" does not contain dialogues during the performance. ...more

GROUNDHOGS-BLACK DIAMOND-1976-FIRST PRESS UK-UA-UAS29994. Matrix A-1U/B-1U is a very rare British original of the cult prog blues band.Black Diamond is the ninth studio album by the British rock band The Groundhogs. Recorded in July-August 1976 at T.S. Studios in Haverhill, England, it was released in the fall by United Artists. This album differs from its predecessors with a much richer sound and a finely honed technique of execution. Tony McPhee tried to make the music of the album even more uncompromising, which he wanted to emphasize with a tougher sound of guitars and amplification of keyboards (synthesizers), which, of course, he played himself. A very big influence on him during this period was exerted by "King Crimson", who later, in turn, themselves learned a lot from the album "Black Diamond", when they were once again revived at the turn of the millennium. Nevertheless, the departure from a purely bluesy sound was not very liked by the fans of "The Groundhogs", which did not slow down to affect the contract with the record company. Black Diamond is the last studio album of the "Golden Age" of the band, after which the band ceased to exist and was revived with a new line-up only in 1985 (the year of the release of the new album). ...more

In 1967, Richard Stivers and Tom Harris played in the Detroit Vibrations ensemble. Gary Thompson replaced the guitarist, and the line-up included vocalist Tom Beaudry and guitarist Dan Yeley. In 1969, the band changed its name to "Frijid Pink" and began to perform actively.  In late 1969, the band released the single "House Of The Rising Sun", which became a hit. In early 1970, the debut album was released, which took 11th place in America and 1st place in Germany. ...more

E Pluribus Funk is the fifth studio album by American rock band Grand Funk Railroad. The album was released on November 15, 1971 by Capitol Records. Like the previous Grand Funk Railroad albums, it was recorded at the Cleveland Recording Company and is the last album produced by Terry Knight. The name is a play on the motto of the United States of America, E pluribus unum, and in Latin means "Of many, Funk". The original exhaust cover (designed by Ernie Cefalu) was completely round and covered with a silver film that resembled a large coin. GRAND FUNK RAILROAD-GRAND FUNK-1969-THE SECOND PRESS OF USA -SKAO-406 is a very rare second press of the cult album.  Grand Funk (also known as The Red Album) is the second studio album by American rock band Grand Funk Railroad, released in December 1969 on Capitol Records four months after their debut On Time. The producer was Terry Knight and the sound engineer was Ken Hamann. It became the band's first album to be awarded gold status by the RIAA. It included a cover of The Animals' song "Inside Looking Out", which is performed at the band's concerts to this day. ...more
