PINK FLOYD-A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS-1968-FIRST PRESS(STEREO) UK-COLUMBIA- number SCX6258 of the XAX matrix-3633-1/ XAX-3634-1, 1R/1A stamper (very early!)  A mega rare British original of the iconic album. A Saucerful of Secrets is the second studio album by the British rock band Pink Floyd, released on June 29, 1968 by Columbia, owned by EMI, in the United Kingdom and on July 27 of the same year by Capitol Records in the United States. The album was recorded on August 7-8, 1967 and January 18 — May 3, 1968 at Abbey Road Studios in London and on October 9-11 and October 19, 1967 at De Lane Lee. A Saucerful of Secrets reached number nine in the UK charts.  A Saucerful of Secrets was the last album to be recorded by Syd Barrett. Starting with this album, David Gilmour became a permanent member of the Pink Floyd collective. In January 1968, he officially took Barrett's place in the band. ...more

Chuck Berry on Stage is Chuck Berry's first live album, [a] released in 1963 by Chess Records. Despite being positioned as a live album, it is a collection of previously released studio recordings (with the exception of "All Aboard", "Trick or Treat", "I Just Want To Make Love To You", "Still Got The Blues" and a previously unreleased alternative version of "Brown-Eyed Handsome Man") with superimposed audience sounds to simulate a concert recording. One of the album's tracks, titled "Surfin' USA", is "Sweet Little Sixteen", originally released in 1958, the melody of which was used in The Beach Boys' 1963 hit "Surfin' USA". A very rare second press of a cult album in top condition. Blind Faith is the only album by the British rock band of the same name, it was released in August 1969 and immediately topped the charts in the United States and Great Britain. The recording took place in London, first at Morgan Studios, and then at Olympic Studios, under the direction of producer Jimmy Miller. All tracks on this album belong to the band members, except for a cover version of "Well All Right" from Buddy Holly's repertoire. The album received positive reviews from critics, was a great commercial success and immediately topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. The cover of the album published in the UK shows a young topless girl (the younger sister of photographer Bob Seideman, the creator of the cover) holding a model airplane in her hands. In the USA, this picture was considered not quite decent, and the album was also released with an alternative cover, which featured a photo of the band members. This is a compilation album by the American band Sly and the Family Stone. It was first released on November 21, 1970 by Epic Records. The album includes all the singles from the albums Dance to the Music (1968), Life (1968) and Stand! (1969). Three tracks released as singles in 1969 first appear on the album here: "Hot Fun in the Summertime", "Everybody Is a Star" and "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)". The recordings in this compilation do not always match the versions of the singles; some songs are presented here in their album version and mixes. Mixes sometimes have different editing and vocal and/or instrumentation changes. Greatest Hits was certified five times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), selling five million copies in the United States. In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine ranked the album 60th on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, 61st on its revised 2012 list, and 343rd in its 2020 ranking. ...more
