Vaya Con Dios is the debut album by Belgian Blues-rock band Vaya Con Dios released on Ariola Records in October 1988. The singles from the album were the songs "Just a Friend of Mine", "Puerto Rico", "Don't Cry for Louie" and "Johnny", the only song in French on the record. Vaya Con Dios was written with the cooperation of various artists, one of them — Burt Dekort, a former member of staff of the Mistress, worked to create "Puerto Rico". The singles "Puerto Rico", "Just a Friend of Mine", "Don't Cry for Louie" has brought fame to the group. After the success of the singles from the album Vaya Con Dios team opened the way to many hit-parades of Europe. He also directed the film "More", for which Pink Floyd also recorded the soundtrack. The CD was recorded in six days in France, at the Chateau d’Erouville. As in the case of the soundtrack to the movie "More", several modified versions of the tracks can be heard on the album. BRING ON THE NIGHT is Sting's first live album, recorded during several concerts in 1985 and released in 1986. The title is taken from a song by the Police from their 1979 album Reggatta de Blanc. The songs performed include Sting's early solo material from the studio album The Dream of the Blue Turtles and from his time with The Police, with some performances performed as a medley of the two. The touring band features prominent jazz musicians Branford Marsalis on tenor and soprano saxophones, Darryl Jones on bass guitar, Kenny Kirkland on keyboards and synthesizer, and Omar Hakim on drums. Backing vocalists Janice Pendarvis and Dolette McDonald also perform. Despite the lack of hit singles, the album reached number 16 on the UK album Charts and earned Sting a Grammy Award in 1988 for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. ...more

The album was certified platinum in Brazil, and gold in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. The album was recorded in 1987 and released on May 3, 1988. In 1987, the single "The Living Daylights" was released, which became the theme to the film "Sparks from the Eyes" about James Bond and was later included in the album. Of the singles, the most popular was "Stay on These Roads", which reached number one on the Norwegian chart, and performed well in other European countries. Less popular was the single "Touchy!" and even less popular were "The Blood That Moves The Body" and "You Are The One". The latest single There's Never A Forever Thing didn't make it to any of the national charts at all. In 1992, a remix of the single "The Blood That Moves The Body"was released.
