East of Eden were a British progressive rock band who had a Top 10 hit in the UK with the single "Jig-a-Jig" in 1970. The track was stylistically different from any of their other work. Although some may consider them a symphonic progressive band, others claim that their style is mainly jazz-oriented.In 1968 they moved to London and signed a recording contract with Deram Records. It is the eponymous title of Seal's debut studio album, released in 1991. It contains the singles "Crazy", "Future Love Paradise", "The Beginning", "Killer" and "Violet". The album debuted at number one in the UK and won Best British Album at the 1992 Brit Awards. There are two versions of the album, with minor and significant differences in the three songs. The shorter version of "Wild" is more rock-oriented and heavy than the original. The abridged version of "Violet" does not contain dialogues during the performance. ...more
