MOORE GARY-AFTER HOUR-1992-FIRST PRESS UK/EU-VIRGIN-212558. A rare original legend in rock music. After Hours is a studio album by Irish guitarist and singer Gary Moore, released on March 10, 1992. After a busy tour in 1990, Moore recorded the album "After Hours", which, like its predecessor, was sustained in the style of blues-rock, but with a great soul influence and with the addition of a brass section that played in the style of soul. Despite the fact that the album turned out to be very similar to "Still Got The Blues", its success was more modest. After Hours includes both Moore's original songs and well-known blues standards. The Memphis band The Memphis Horns took part in the recording, as well as guest musicians: BB King ("Since I Met You Baby") and Albert Collins ("The Blues Is Alright"). The album reached the 1st place in the charts of Switzerland and Sweden, as well as the 2nd place in Germany and Norway. In general, he received favorable reviews. BRING ON THE NIGHT is Sting's first live album, recorded during several concerts in 1985 and released in 1986. The title is taken from a song by the Police from their 1979 album Reggatta de Blanc. The songs performed include Sting's early solo material from the studio album The Dream of the Blue Turtles and from his time with The Police, with some performances performed as a medley of the two. The touring band features prominent jazz musicians Branford Marsalis on tenor and soprano saxophones, Darryl Jones on bass guitar, Kenny Kirkland on keyboards and synthesizer, and Omar Hakim on drums. Backing vocalists Janice Pendarvis and Dolette McDonald also perform.
