A very rare British original of the iconic album. Off the Ground (from English — "From the ground") is the ninth solo studio album by Paul McCartney, released in 1993, McCartney's first studio album in the 1990s, following Flowers in the Dirt released in 1989. The album Off the Ground itself was released on February 1, 1993. The album rose to number 5 on the UK chart, and to number 17 on the US chart (it was certified gold there). The album was the first McCartney album in which no single became a notable hit in the United States; this has not been the case in McCartney's practice since the Wings Wild Life album in 1971. While the single "Hope of Deliverance" was floundering somewhere in the depths of the American singles chart, it rose to number 18 in the UK; "C'mon People" was less successful in the UK chart, and almost unnoticeable in the US. The album rose to number 5 on the UK Top 100 Albums Chart and stayed on the chart for only 6 weeks. In Germany, the album achieved relatively greater success, rose to number 2 and stayed there for 4 weeks, was certified platinum; the single "Hope of Deliverance" rose to number 3 on the singles chart. In the United States, the single "Off the Ground" rose to number 27 on the Adult Contemporary chart.A few weeks after the release of the album, McCartney and the band began a world tour ("The New World Tour"); the tour lasted 6 months, and many successful concerts were given in different countries. The seventh studio album by the British-American rock band Foreigner, released on June 14, 1991 on Atlantic Records. Unusual Heat suffered a commercial failure, reaching only number 117 on the Billboard chart due to a sharp drop in sales compared to all previous albums, each of which reached the Top 20 and became at least platinum. None of the two singles released from the album made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and "Lowdown and Dirty" only reached number 4 on the Mainstream Rock chart. ...more

A very rare British original of the iconic album. Peace For Our Time is the second album by the English progressive jazz-rock band Warm Dust, released in 1971 on an obscure label Trend in the UK. In 1971, the album was also released in the USA (UNI Records 73109), Italy (Stateside, EMI Italiana S.p.A 3C 062-92228) - everywhere in the same envelope with a spread, and in Italy also on white vinyl (probably because in April 1971 Warm Dust was awarded a reception by the Pope at the Vatican). This is a concept album, the idea of which is expressed in the title itself, as the cover suggests to us. Under the title Peace For Our Time (Peace for Our Time) attributed to: Neville Chamberlain, September 30, 1938. The story is as follows. On September 30, 1938, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain returned to London after signing the ill-fated Munich Agreement, according to which Germany ate a good piece of Czechoslovakia in the form of the Sudetenland. Chamberlain stood with this document outside the Foreign Office in Downing Street and spoke complacently: "Dear friends, for the second time in our history, an honorable peace returns from Germany to Downing Street. I believe this is the world for our time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and I recommend that you go home and sleep peacefully in your beds." And the next day, Hitler's troops occupied Czechoslovakia, and a year later the Second World War began. Since then, this phrase has been ironic or sarcastic, if you will. ...more
