PAT METHENY AND LYLE MAYS-AS FALLS WICHITA , SO FALLS WICHITA FALLS-1981-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-ECM-ECM1190.  A rare original of the cult jazzman of the third wave (the beginning of the 70s) As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls is an album by jazz guitarist Pat Metheny and jazz pianist Lyle Mays recorded in September 1980 and released on ECM the following April. The trio consists of percussionist Nana Vasconcelos..Throughout the album, Metheny acts as the lead guitarist, accompanying guitarist and bassist, using an overdubbing technique. The track "September Fifteenth" refers to September 15, 1980, the day of the death of American jazz pianist Bill Evans. Metheny and Mays call Evans the main person involved. The album reached number 1 on the Jazz Billboard, and number 50 on the Pop/rock Billboard in 1979.  ...more

It contains several studio recordings by the Doors, as well as "Heroin" by the Velvet Underground and "Carmina Burana" by Earl Orff. None of Val Kilmer's renditions of the Doors songs featured in the film are included in the soundtrack. The album cover features Jim Morrison performed by Val Kilmer. This is a photo of Kilmer looking directly into the camera lens. COLTRANE, JOHN / SHEPP, ARCHIE -NEW THING AT NEWPORT-1965-FIRST PRESS (STEREO) USA- IMPULSE-AS-94-A very rare American original of the cult album . A 1965 live album consisting of two separate sets from that year's Newport Jazz Festival, composed by tenor saxophonists John Coltrane and Archie Shepp. It was recorded four days after Coltrane's Ascension album recording session, at which Shapp appeared, and is one of several albums documenting the final stages of Coltrane's "classic quartet", which would begin to break up by the end of that year with the departure of McCoy Tyner. Reviewer Tim Niland wrote that both of Coltrane's performances are "explosive in their intensity" and "One Down, One Up" is "almost boiling at times." He stated: "Despite the audacity of the music, there are enough melodic hints in it, and the musicians are so obviously sincere in their desire to explore the world that the audience gives them great support." Nayland concluded: "Although the music on this CD must have come as something of a shock to those who were unprepared for it, listening to it in a historical context shows that this is a great example of the rapidly developing state of jazz in the mid-1960s by two of its most famous performers." ...more

LOREDANA BERTE- SAVOIR FAIRE -1984-FIRST PRESS UK/EU -HOLLAND-CBS-CBS26107. A rare European original of the iconic album. Savoir fair is the tenth studio album by the Italian pop star. The first success came in 1975, the song "You are beautiful" ("Sei bellissima"), stayed in the Italian charts for 14 weeks, then entered the album "Normal or super" ("Normale o super", 1976) — the first, produced by Mario Lavezzi, as well as the first song of one of the largest Italian composers Ivan Fossati. His song "Dedicated" ("Dedicato"), performed in 1978 by Berthe, and again censored, this time politically, was repeatedly played on Italian TV. The 1979 album "Banda Berte" ("BandaBertè"), including the song "And the moon knocked ..." ("... E la luna bussò", in the rhythm of reggae), again reached high places in the Italian charts. For this album, Berthe again receives the "Vota la voce" award as the best performer. In 1981, Loredana spent several months in the United States recording the album "Made in Italy", in New York she met with E.By Warhol. In 1982, Berte won the "Festival Bar" with the song "I am not that signora" ("Non sono una signora", which rose to 5th place in the weekly and to 32 in the annual Italian hit parade, included in one of her most successful albums "Crossings" ("Traslocando", 7 and 38 places, respectively.. The ambitious 1985 album Carioca is dedicated to the work of Brazilian musician Javan, the lyrics are written by Bruno Lauci and Enrico Rudgeri. On March 1, 1984[4] Berte came to the USSR for the first time, together with Italian television, Soviet television made a musical film "Autograph" (1984), which included recordings made on the streets of Moscow, at the circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard, in Zelenograd and Tallinn. ...more
