HARD STUFF-BULLETPROOF-1972-THE FIRST UK-PUP PRESS -TPSA7505. matrices A-1U/B-1U. 1G/1G Stamper (A Dream!!!!!)  Hard Stuff was formed in 1970 from already well-known musicians as a trio, but first under the name Daemon. It consists of bass guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist John Gustafson (participated in The Big Three, The Merseybeats, Quatermass, Roxy Music, Ian Gillan Band), guitarist and vocalist John Du Cann (Andromeda, Atomic Rooster), drummer Paul Hammond (Intellectuals, Atomic Rooster), as well as an unknown vocalist Al Sbawz. The result was, as it were, a fusion of two musicians who left Atomic Rooster and one who came from the disbanded Quatermass, plus a vocalist. With this line-up and under the name Daemon, they recorded the album “The Entrance to Hell” in 1971. Due to the non-release of the album, the band renamed itself Bullet, after which it toured a lot, including several times opening for Deep Purple and even released a couple of singles, but again in 1972 changed its name to Hard Stuff due to the presence of a group in the United States called Bullet, which may have threatened lawsuits. And with a new name, the band released two full-length albums on the chic Deep Purple label, and also continued to perform with successful concert tours, and perhaps would have done more, but unfortunately, having got into a serious car accident, so two members were seriously injured, and their further career was terminated. But still, they managed to create these wonderful releases already as a trio without vocalist Al Sbawz. A rare British original of the cult album by the famous Italian prog band. Chocolate Kings is the sixth album by the Italian progressive rock band Premiata Forneria Marconi (also known as PFM). It was released in 1975 by Numero Uno, a division of RCA Records in Italy. It was also released with a different cover on Manticore Records in the UK and Asylum Records in the USA.It was the first album to feature Bernardo Lanzetti (former Acqua Fragile vocalist) as lead vocals. It was also their first album whose lyrics were originally written in English, as the band felt they were better suited to the music they were creating at the time.[3] The lyrics for "From Under" and "Chocolate Kings" were written by Marva Jan Murrow, an American friend of the band who lived in Italy at the time. ...more

A very rare original of the English prog-psycho band. Pink Fairies — What a Bunch of Sweeties (1972) This release is by many the most beloved of the three Pink Fairies albums recorded on the Polydor label. The record was recorded in 1972, at a time when the band's own reputation as hippie hooligans was already overshadowed by the soaring Hawkwind, "What a Bunch of Sweets" found that the band was rebuilding under the perverted American-rock style of modern MC5, with a high level of noise, but, unfortunately, with a low level of explosive determination, which was the hallmark of their debut album.The loss of the band's founder (Twink) may or may not have contributed to the further breakup, although it cannot be denied that in full instrumental overdrive, the incarnation of the three-person band (plus invited guests) was at least as dramatic as that of its predecessor. Indeed, the nine-minute attack on The Ventures' song "Walk Don't Run" ranks among the best Pink Fairies recordings of all time, while the bonus inclusion of an even longer version gives this record even more significance. There is also a hot version of The Beatles song "I Saw Her Standing There", a perverted country opus "Pigs of Uranus" and, concluding about the bonus tracks, a gloomy reinterpretation of the Don Nicks song "Goin' Down". ...more
