A rare original of the iconic jazzman. City of Eyes is an album by American jazz guitarist Ralph Towner recorded in 1988 and released on ECM the following April. The quintet consists of trumpeter Marcus Stockhausen, oboist Paul McCandless and rhythm section Gary Peacock and Jerry Granelli. Tom Jurek's review on AllMusic awarded the album 4 stars, stating: "City of Eyes once again shows Ralph Towner as a musical researcher, composer and instrumentalist who can convincingly create sonic journeys through time, space and terrain." ...more

MUDDY WATERS-ELECTRIC MUD-1968-THE FIRST UK PRESS- CHESS-CRLS-4542 is a very rare British original of the cult album "papa" blues. Electric Mud is the fifth studio album by Muddy Waters, featuring the members of Rotary Connection as a backing band. Released in 1968, it introduces Muddy Waters as a psychedelic musician. Producer Marshall Chess suggested that Muddy Waters record it in an attempt to appeal to a rock audience. The album reached number 127 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album recorded by jazz pianist Keith Jarrett in November 1977 and released on ECM in June of the following year is the second release by his "European Quartet" featuring saxophonist Jan Garbarek and rhythm section, Palle Danielsson and John Christensen, after 1974, The AllMusic review by Scott Yanow states: "Due to the popularity of obsessive"My Song" this album is the most famous of Jarrett and Garbarek's collaborations, and in fact it is their most rewarding meeting ever. PAT METHENY AND LYLE MAYS-AS FALLS WICHITA , SO FALLS WICHITA FALLS-1981-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-ECM-ECM1190.  A rare original of the cult jazzman of the third wave (the beginning of the 70s) As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls is an album by jazz guitarist Pat Metheny and jazz pianist Lyle Mays recorded in September 1980 and released on ECM the following April. The trio consists of percussionist Nana Vasconcelos..Throughout the album, Metheny acts as the lead guitarist, accompanying guitarist and bassist, using an overdubbing technique. The track "September Fifteenth" refers to September 15, 1980, the day of the death of American jazz pianist Bill Evans. Metheny and Mays call Evans the main person involved. The album reached number 1 on the Jazz Billboard, and number 50 on the Pop/rock Billboard in 1979.  ...more

MINOGUE, KYLIE-RHYTHM OF LOVE-1990-FIRST UK PRESS-PWL number PWLHF18.A rare original of the famous pop diva.  Rhythm of Love is the third studio album by Australian singer Kylie Minogue, released on November 12, 1990 in the UK on the PWL label and on December 3 of the same year in Australia on Mushroom Records. The recording of the album began in March 1990 and lasted until September. The main producers of the album were Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Minogue has also collaborated with a number of American authors and producers, including Keith Cohen, Stephen Bray and Michael Jay. The singer began to take part in songwriting: Rhythm of Love includes four compositions, co-authored by Minogue. Rhythm of Love is an album in the style of dance pop music, different from the singer's early works in the style of bubblegum pop. The compositions of the record are characterized by a more danceable sound, with its release, Minogue's image has become more liberated and sexy. The CD received positive reviews from music critics, who called it the best work of the performer during her collaboration with Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Compared to Minogue's previous albums, Rhythm of Love turned out to be less successful in terms of sales: the record reached the ninth line of the British charts, thus becoming the singer's first studio release not to reach the first line. In the Australian music ranking, the album secured the tenth position, which allowed it to become Minogue's third work to enter the top ten of this chart.
