MOORE GARY-AFTER HOUR-1992-FIRST PRESS UK/EU-VIRGIN-212558. A rare original legend in rock music. After Hours is a studio album by Irish guitarist and singer Gary Moore, released on March 10, 1992. After a busy tour in 1990, Moore recorded the album "After Hours", which, like its predecessor, was sustained in the style of blues-rock, but with a great soul influence and with the addition of a brass section that played in the style of soul. Despite the fact that the album turned out to be very similar to "Still Got The Blues", its success was more modest. After Hours includes both Moore's original songs and well-known blues standards. The Memphis band The Memphis Horns took part in the recording, as well as guest musicians: BB King ("Since I Met You Baby") and Albert Collins ("The Blues Is Alright"). The album reached the 1st place in the charts of Switzerland and Sweden, as well as the 2nd place in Germany and Norway. In general, he received favorable reviews. Allmusic reviewer David Genzen called After Hours "as impressive" as Still Got the Blues. ...more

NAZARETH-PLAY 'N' THE GAME-1976-THE FIRST UK-MOUNTAIN-TOPS113 PRESS.A rare British original. Play ’n’ the Game is the eighth studio album by the Scottish band Nazareth, released in 1976.The CD cover states: "This album is entirely dedicated to Bill Fehilly, whose faith and spirit are still with us." Bill Fehilly is the band's manager, who died shortly before in a plane crash. The musicians admitted that without his help, Nazareth would never have crossed the borders of England — let alone other countries. Play ’n’ the Game, like the previous album, went unnoticed in the UK, while the band was very popular in Canada, where Nazareth received about 50 gold and platinum records throughout the 1970s. In addition, Play ’n’ the Game opened the way for Nazareth popularity in South America. Dan McCafferty said of the album: "Call it a party album. Put it on again." ...more
