BLIND FAITH-BLIND FAITH-1969-FIRST PRESS UK-POLYDOR-583059. Of The Matrix A-1/B-1. Mega rare original of the cult album in top condition. Blind Faith is the only album by the British rock band of the same name, which was released in August 1969 and immediately topped the US and UK charts. Recording took place in London, first at Morgan Studios, and then at Olympic Studios, under the direction of producer Jimmy Miller. All tracks on this album belong to the band members, except for a cover version of "Well All Right" from the Buddy Holly repertoire. The album received positive reviews from critics, was a great commercial success and immediately topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. The cover of the album, published in the UK, shows a young topless girl (the younger sister of photographer Bob Seidemann, the creator of the cover) holding a model airplane. In the US, this picture was considered not quite decent, and the album was also released with an alternative cover, which featured a photo of the band members. The album went platinum in five countries, and triple platinum in Australia.

Despite the fact that the album turned out to be very similar to "Still Got The Blues", its success was more modest. After Hours includes both Moore's original songs and well-known blues standards. The Memphis band The Memphis Horns took part in the recording, as well as guest musicians: BB King ("Since I Met You Baby") and Albert Collins ("The Blues Is Alright"). The album reached the 1st place in the charts of Switzerland and Sweden, as well as the 2nd place in Germany and Norway. In general, he received favorable reviews. The title track was released as a single in the US, UK and several European countries in 1971. In 1973, a live version of "July Morning" was released as a single in the United States. The original version of the cover provided for a slot and a "mirror" made of foil, in which the viewer saw his distorted image.  ...more
