The first half of the original LP (tracks 1 to 5) is a conceptual story about the wizard Merlin. The second half of the LP is a collection of individual songs. Released on August 12, 1991 by Elektra Records, it is commonly referred to as the Black Album due to its packaging design. His recording took place in a one-on-one studio in Los Angeles for eight months, during which Metallica often clashed with its new producer Bob Rock. The album marked a change in the band's music from the thrash metal style of their previous four albums to a slower, heavier and more refined sound. Metallica performed Metallica in full during the 2012 Black Albums European Tour. In 2020, the album was ranked 235th in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest Albums of all time. In December 2019, Metallica became the fourth release in American history to reach the 550-week milestone on the Billboard 200 chart. SUNDAY-SUNDAY-1991-FIRST PRESS RUSSIA-FEE LEE-FL3-001. A very rare original of the cult album. Resurrection is the second studio album by the band Resurrection, recorded in 1981. Until 1991, it existed only as a tape album, distributed by copying. Included in the book by Alexander Kushnir "100 magnetoalbums of Soviet rock" The recording was made on June 7-10, 1981. The sound engineer was Alexander "Artem" Arutyunov. The album was mixed on the spot.  The songs "In life, like in a dark thicket", "Who's to blame?" and "I used to wander alone" were first recorded in 1979 on the first album. A total of 9 songs were recorded. A very rare original of the cult album.  In Search of the Lost Chord is the third studio album by the British band The Moody Blues, released in July 1968 on Deram Records. The Moody Blues' second album, recorded in the classic Hayward—Pinder—Lodge—Thomas Edge line—up, and the band's second work with producer Tony Clark. On this record, the band's signature sound was formed, built around a mellotron. The album was written under the influence of LSD, transcendental meditation and Oriental music, in particular, Hindustani music. The theme of the album's songs touches on such topics as the spiritual development of a person, his desire for search and discovery. Two songs from the record, "Ride My See-Saw" and "Voices in the Sky", were also released as singles. After the release of In Search of the Lost, Chord took quite high positions in the charts. In the UK, he was in the top five albums, and in Germany and the USA in the top thirty. According to the results of sales, the record received gold status in the USA, and platinum in Canada. In Search of the Lost Chord received positive reviews from critics and was included in various lists of the best progressive rock albums. ...more

OUT OF FOCUS-WAKE UP!-1971-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-KUCKUCK- 2375006. One of the best prog albums in Germany on a prestigious label. Out Of Focus is a German krautrock-rock fusion band formed at the end of 1968 in Munich: Hennes Herring - keyboards (mainly Hammond organ), Remigius Drexler - guitar, Hans-Georg Neumuller - vocals and brass, Klaus Speri - drums and Stefan Visheu - bass. Out of Focus got their name from the track Blue Cheer, but were also influenced by Soft Machine and Xhol Caravan and quickly created a special style mixing rock, jazz and psychedelic overtones. The band's music was known for the socio-political propaganda present in Moran Neumuller's songs. Despite the typical Munich style, they are often compared to the Canterbury fusion of Britain and Scandinavian jazz-rock.  ...more
