The Wall: Live in Berlin is a concert performance of the legendary rock opera The Wall by Pink Floyd, organized by its main author Roger Waters and held on July 21, 1990 at Berlin's Potsdamer Platz, which has long been divided by the Berlin Wall. The concert was filmed as a TV movie, and also released in September 1990 as a live album. The concert took place in the presence of a 200,000-strong audience on July 21, 1990 at Potsdamer Platz, which was previously a no-man's land separating East and West Berlin. During the concert, a "wall" with a width of more than 160 m and a height of about 25 m was erected on the stage, which was finally destroyed to the ground. A rare original of the cult album. Nightflight to Venus is the third studio album by Euro-Caribbean band Boney M., released in July 1978. The album became a major success in continental Europe, Scandinavia and Canada, topping most album charts in the second half of 1978, and also became their first number one album in the UK. In Canada, the album received a nomination for the 1980 Juno Award in the International Album of the Year category. Nightflight to Venus includes the worldwide hits "Rivers of Babylon" and "Brown Girl in the Ring", a two-sided single that topped the UK singles chart and sold over 2 million copies.[4] The sequel was another Boney M. classic, "Rasputin", which in most countries was also performed on the double A side in combination with "Painter Man", a cover version of the 1966 hit by The Creation. A 1957 studio album by American jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald, accompanied by Duke Ellington and his orchestra, dedicated to Ellington's songs. Part of the Fitzgerald Songbook series, this is the only one where the composer also appears as a performer, and the first time Fitzgerald recorded with Ellington. It is also the entry in the Songbook series that gave her the most opportunities to demonstrate her skill in singing scat. Most of the third disc is dedicated to two original compositions by Billy Strayhorn, inspired by the life, character and artistry of Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald's recording on this album earned her the Grammy Award for Best Individual Jazz Performance at the 1st Annual Grammy Awards. The album was released in two volumes: In the first volume was Fitzgerald with the Ellington Orchestra, in the second-Fitzgerald with a small group. This album marked the beginning of a fruitful creative relationship between Fitzgerald and Ellington.
