DONNA SUMMER - MISTAKEN IDENTITY-1991-FIRST PRESS UK/EU-GERMANY-WARNER-WX443. A rare original of the queen of soul disco. Mistaken Identity is the fourteenth studio album by American singer Donna Summer, released on August 23, 1991 on Atlantic Records. In the new record, Summer continues to experiment with various musical genres, this time the album is recorded in an urban style. However, the album becomes one of the most disastrous releases in Donna Summer's career, it does not enter either the UK Albums Chart or the US Billboard 200. Two singles were released from the album: "When Love Cries", which reached number 77 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and number 18 on the Billboard RB charts; and "Work That Magic", was released as a single in the UK, where it reached number 74 on the UK Singles Chart.

LOVE SCULPTURE-BLUES HELPING-1968-FIRST PRESS UK-PARLOPHONE-PCS7059. A very rare British original of the cult band. Their debut album Blues Helping included the songs "Summertime" and "Wang Dang Doodle". They are best known for their new 1968 hit on the UK singles chart, a high-speed cover version of Aram Khachaturian's classic piece "Dance with a Saber", released on the Parlophone label (R 5744), which reached number 5 on the UK Singles chart in December 1968. The recording was inspired by Keith Emerson's classic permutations. "Sabre Dance" became a hit after the broadcast of British DJ John Peel, who was so impressed that he played it twice in the same program.. In December 1968, the British music magazine NME reported that Love Sculpture had signed a recording contract in the US with London Records guaranteeing 250,000 pounds. The band also received an invitation to perform "Sabre Dance" live on the German television program Beat-Club on Radio Bremen, which was broadcast in Germany at the time. ...more

SAVOY BROWN-JACK THE TOAD-1973-FIRST UK PRESS-DECCA-TXS112 Matrix A-1W/B-1W. A rare British original of the cult blues-rock band. They were one of the bands that British Decca (USA, London/Parrot) had a relationship with during difficult times until they started selling records; it took four or five albums until they started selling in the USA. In the late 1960s and 1970s, the band managed to break into the Billboard Hot 100. The 1971 release of Street Corner Talking included the songs "Tell Mama" and "Conversation on the Street Corner". Nevertheless, superstability constantly eluded them, perhaps partly due to frequent changes in the composition. Despite this, their next album Hellbound Train (1972) entered the Top 40 album for them in the USA. In January 1974, the British music magazine NME reported that Stan Webb was joining Savoy Brown after the breakup of Chicken Shack. The album JACK THE TOAD in the USA is located at the 78th place of the Billboard 100. ...more
