Recorded between September 1970 and June 1971, released in September 1971 on Harvest Records. The album was recorded at De Lane Lea Studios (like its predecessor). Compared to Deep Purple in Rock, this album was recorded in a more experimental style. Allmusic named it one of the band's four most important albums, along with Machine Head, In Rock and Burn. Ian Gillan, unlike the rest of the band, considers this album a classic of Deep Purple. Nevertheless, he noticed that the inclusion of "Anyone's Daughter" (in the country style and with humorous lyrics) on the album was fun, but a mistake ("A good bit of fun, but a mistake"). Jon Lord singled out several tracks of the album, such as "No No No" and "Fools", and especially noted Pace's playing in the title track. Scène de vie (English: Moments in Life) is a studio album by French artist Patricia Kaas. It was her second album, released in 1990. This confirmed the singer's potential, reaching the top of the album chart in France. In France, Scène de vie climbed to number 2 on May 10, 1990, and then reached the top of the album chart and stayed there for ten weeks. It spent 38 weeks in the top ten and 78 weeks in the top 50.[3] It became a diamond disc eight years after its release, just as Mademoiselle Chante did... before him. In Switzerland, the album entered the charts on May 6, 1990 at number 17 and reached a peak position of 15.
