A very rare American original of the cult album. Aftermath is the fourth British and sixth American studio album by the British rock band The Rolling Stones, released in two versions. The British version of the record (Decca Records) was released on April 15, 1966, intended for sales in the United States (London Records) - on June 20. The CD is designed in the classic rhythm and blues style for the band, but it has become more "experimental" than its predecessors; for example, a number of songs use such non-standard instruments for rock music as sitar, accordion and marimba (African xylophone). A very rare original of the cult blues rocker. Since the release of the previous album A Hard Road, there have been noticeable changes in the composition of the Bluesbreakers: Peter Green left to form his own band (Fleetwood Mac), and Ainsley Dunbar moved to Jeff Beck. John took Keef Hartley to the vacant drummer's place, and it was more difficult to replace the lead guitarist - after all, the new musician would have to bear comparison with both Clapton and Green. John remembered that at one of the concerts, when Eric for some reason did not show up on time, a young boy came who claimed to know the entire repertoire of Bluesbreakers. Mayall didn't have much choice, and he invited the young guitarist to the stage. He demonstrated a good knowledge of the material and excellent technique, and John was impressed with his performance. It includes the song "Light My Fire" (the solo release of which allowed the band to break into the music charts), significantly expanded instrumentally compared to the single version. The album was released in early 1967. The author of the front cover of the record was Guy Webster (Eng. Guy Webster), the back-Joel Brodsky (Eng. The soloist is Valery Syutkin. After the success of the previous album "Dudes from Moscow", the group "Bravo" became one of the first most successful groups of the post-Soviet space and the nascent Russian show business. And if the previous work was rather an edition of previously recorded material with small additions, then the new one was rather the result of the joint work of Khavtan and Syutkin.
