A very rare original of the cult blues rocker. Since the release of the previous album A Hard Road, there have been noticeable changes in the composition of the Bluesbreakers: Peter Green left to form his own band (Fleetwood Mac), and Ainsley Dunbar moved to Jeff Beck. John took Keef Hartley to the vacant drummer's place, and it was more difficult to replace the lead guitarist - after all, the new musician would have to bear comparison with both Clapton and Green. John remembered that at one of the concerts, when Eric for some reason did not show up on time, a young boy came who claimed to know the entire repertoire of Bluesbreakers. Mayall didn't have much choice, and he invited the young guitarist to the stage. He demonstrated a good knowledge of the material and excellent technique, and John was impressed with his performance. But after the concert, the boy left without leaving his coordinates. Now Mayall wanted to find this musician, and in the end he was able to do it by placing an ad in Melody Maker. So Mick Taylor came to the band, who was more inclined to blues-rock, and not to pure blues. The band's line-up was expanded with the involvement of two saxophonists-Chris Mercer on tenor and Rip Kant on baritone. JETHRO TULL-BROADSWORD AND THE BEAST-1982-FIRST PRESS UK-CHRYSALIS-CDL1380. The Broadsword and the Beast is the 14th studio album by the rock band Jethro Tull, released on April 10, 1982. The album is a cross between the dominant synthesizer sound of the 1980s and the folk-influenced style that Jethro Tull used in the previous decade. Thus, the band's characteristic acoustic instruments are complemented by electronic soundscapes provided by the new keyboardist Peter-John Vettese. The electronic aspects of this album will be further explored by the band in their next release, In Secret. In the notes to the remastered version of the album, Ian Anderson expresses the opinion that Broadsword contains some of the best music of Jethro Tull. ...more

This is the third and last studio album of the Collective Consciousness Society. It was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London from January to May 1973 and released in September of the same year. In Australia, the album was called "The Band Played Boogie". The album includes, in particular, covers of songs by The Kinks and Cream, and it is equally divided by original compositions. The style continues the style of their two previous albums, with heavy rock and blues songs arranged on jazz instruments. The single "The Band Played the Boogie" reached the 36th place in the official UK charts. Neither the album nor the single reached the US charts. ...more

The Shadows is a 1961 rock album by the British band The Shadows, which reached number one in the UK charts and was recorded at Abbey Road Studios (Studio 2) between 26 October 1960 and 21 June 1961. It was recorded on fully analog equipment in real time, with each track recorded one track per day without any overdubs or edits on a 2-track recording machine. The album had a strong influence on rock music and many famous musicians. For example, Brian May (QUEEN) considers this album the most favorite.. ...more
